Thank you Evan, that was the problem. I did not have the 'old boot loader' version selected. However my problem remains, it is still offset in frequency by 1.5KHz on 40m, 3KHz on 20m and so on.
Despite having it now programmed with the N8LOV firmware but now it also seems to be not decoding the audio correctly. On 40m a LSB station can be heard when selecting USB but muffled and?
at a much lower volume when selecting LSB. With the original firmware the audio was great and side bands were correct.
