All understood. With the Arduino Nano fitted to the Raduino board, was you able to measure the DC voltages on the clock signals at C4, C5 and C6 as shown? This would at least indicate that the clocks are toggling between 0V and 3.3V.
If they are toggling, it could still be the case that the calibration does need to be performed. The problem is that if the BFO frequency is not matched to the crystal filter, the RX side will appear to be dead and there will be no SSB TX.
