Since having my v2 for a week, I have barely been able to use it. Apart from issues like RX lag, RX ceasing and one or two other bugs, as you know I know cannot key the rig at all on CW or SSB without being booted back out to the login screen. This makes the rig unusable for me in any way.
I feel sure you are working hard behind the scenes on this, but I am finding it a little difficult to keep myself up to date with what is going on and having to read through the threads of each message to make sure I haven't missed anything.
I wonder if you might please consider posting a simple daily, or other periodic update, for us all on a new message, just so we know where things are? For example, when a new build is available and what you hope it has fixed? What is on your To Do list and in what priority etc?
At the moment I am uncertain if you have resolved the high drive issues yet, although I know new code is posted, or where my issue of being logged out every time I key is on your "To Do" list. I can see activity taking place on github, but it is not entirely clear to me, for example, if the logging out issue has been adressed or not. Or, should I just periodically do an update and see for myself what has been fixed and what has not?
Whilst I am happy to Tinker, I do not have the skill levels to resolve these issues personally, but hope to learn over time. At the moment I have a $400 box that is unusable. A brief "News Update" from time to time would give me heart and hope about where resolution of issues is.?
