All:

Some of you asked to be kept informed about the revision. It should be available in about 4 days. The cover looks a little different:

The purpose of the revised edition is to provide a little more information about how to change the T41 to suit your needs, especially on the software side. We dropped one chapter, condensed its info, and placed it into an existing chapter. We added a new chapter on EEPROM and the bearing heading software. The page count is almost the same, just slightly longer. The price will remain the same. The book uses the V12 board schematics, but does discuss the legacy boards. Once again, schematics for both V12 and legacy boards in on the SCHR web site.

Now the big question: If I own the first edition, should I buy this one? We would say no. The DSP/SDR discussions changed a little, but not $34.95's worth. Also, the new V12 schematics will be available on line. We did move the Calibrate info to an appendix just to make it easier to find. If you don't have the first edition, then we think this is a good, readable, intro to DSP and SDR and think it's worth the purchase. The book is a little over 400 pages.

IF you're going to FDIM to hear Hans and Farhan speak, we will have the book at Vendor's night and would be happy to sign the book, or any other of our books, for you.
