If you type \help in the original GUI, it shows that the command to change the CW input device is \cwinput [key|keyer|kbd]. However typing \cwinput key does not enable a CW straight key.
If you change the CW input device in the HTML GUI, it send the command CW_INPUT KEY and the input device is switched. If you type \CW_INPUT KEY (or any other option) in the old GUI, it complains 'Invalid setting:'
