Mike & I regret that we will miss the ride and the heat. We sold our house in Annapolis and the movers took our stuff and put it in storage til our new home in DE is built. We are currently on Day 3 of our RV adventure across N America to Alaska. We expect our home will be completed by the time we get back east in early Sept.
Safe Riding everyone. And wishes for a speedy recovery for Mike S.

it is three, with the rear position quite small, suitable for a fairly small child.

The cranks are not the independent pedaling system.

I do have a fair stock of other parts if you wanted to change some things.? e.g. the dual front brakes could be separated; bars, stem, saddles, or pedals could be changed; I have a pair of 650B wheels that would work if you were a light team and wanted even wider tires. I'd separate out the frame if you wanted as well.
Pics available on request.

Specs:
Periscope trident frame with a single S&S coupler in the middle.
Blue with white decals
Captain's compartment is large-ish, top tube is about 56cm

Wheels: Phil Wood hubs/Velocity Chukker rims/48 hole/700c
Brakes: Avid BB7 front and rear; front also has an Avid shorty cantilever rim brake set up off the same brake lever as the front disc.
Shifters: Shimano 9 speed bar ends
Front Derailleur: Sachs triple
Rear Derailleur: Shimano Deore XT
Cassette: Shimano 9 speed 11x32
Cranks: Davinci tandem, 170mm captain; 170/150/130 stoker (see )
Chainrings: 110x74mm triple, 46x36x26
Handlebars: Ritchey drop bars (captain); Profile bullhorn bars (stoker); adjustable stoker stems
Pedals: regular pedals w/clips and straps

Current version of the bike can be seen here:
Notable differences include the wheel size and the addition of the S&S couplers. This fork isn't tapered, otherwise I think the frame is substantially the same.

Price: $3000 OBO

Location is Washington DC. I can pack and ship the bike, the coupler makes the shipping a little easier; or am willing to drive within a half day to drop off.

thanks,

We also have a joint ride with the Philadelphia Area Tandem Society (PATS) scheduled for Saturday, September 24 2022.

Rides will be placed on the Baltimore Bike Club (BBC) or Potomac Pedalers Touring Club (PPTC) ride calendars and the ride guidelines for that club will be followed for the ride. The [email protected] list will also have the ride announcements. If you have any questions/difficulties please contact Mike and Evie or Ed and Laurie and we’ll be glad to help. ?

Lastly, there is a regular Tandem Tuesday ride in Alexandria with a focus on visually impaired stokers. If you would like to join them or captain a tandem for one of their stokers, please check the PPTC web page calendar for details.?

Hi Mike & Evie,
Sorry, we won’t be joining the meeting tonight.
We will be traveling in our RV most all of this summer, so we won’t be joining you for many, if any rides. We’ve sold our house in Annapolis and having a new home built in Middletown, DE, that we hope will be completed by Sept when we return from our trip to Alaska.
Happy Cycling,

Carol & Mike Vilardo

Hi Evie and Mike,
We're sorry we won't be able to attend this evening's meeting. We're looking forward to riding with you all again! We may be out-of-town a good bit of the riding season this year, but will do our best to connect.??
Thanks so much for all you do to keep CRABS/WABITS going!
All our best,
Aimee, and Steve
