Looking for donation of used tandems for loan to people with disabilities.
Charlotte¡¯s Tandems US provides free loan of tandem bicycles and other cycling equipment to those with physical or mental challenges who would otherwise have difficulty experiencing the sense of accomplishment, greater mobility, self-reliance and physical fitness that comes from cycling.? It is hard to understate the effect on someone who has largely been limited to their own neighborhood suddenly able to roam for miles.
Based on a successful UK charity, Charlotte¡¯s Tandems US has applied for non-profit status. ?We have a partner 501(C)3 that can provide donation letters for tandems donated to us in the interim.
