The Three Covered Bridges ride for Saturday July 15 at 9 AM is still on. However I've received a request from BBC to modify the route to remove the potentially dangerous crossings of US 15.
Therefore I have CHANGED THE RIDE START LOCATION TO UTICA PARK (which has restrooms):
The 2nd change is that we will be using this RWGPS route. This route is 40 miles and has 1600 ft of climbing, but there is also a shortcut that will knock off 10 or so miles.
This route passes through Emmitsburg, where drinks and snacks are available, and Mt St. Mary's University. We will use the tunnel under US 15 at Mt. St. Mary's to avoid crossing the highway. We also pass near Thurmont, where a detour can be made for food or drinks.
