Just rode it....
We we are leading an easy 17 miler tandem ride on 17th October Saturday, with my wife Marla from: North Lake Center - Maryvale Elementary School. It is a swing school with lots of parking places and the address is 15101 Bauer Dr, Rockville, MD 20853, basically close to the intersection of Trailway Dr X Bauer Dr in Rockville Md. The 17mi ride will leave 17th Oct at 10:00AM from the North Lake Center School at 15101 Bauer Dr, We will ride up the Emory Lane Bike Path to the ICC trail bike path to Layhill Park, turning S onto the Layhill Rd bike lane into Plaza Mercado for lunch at Passion Bakery Cafe/Plaza Mercado (various eating options). Continuing S on Layhill bike lane, we turn Right (at Midvale Lane) onto the Mathew Henson trail. This shady boardwalk bike trail goes through picturescque swamps down to Turkey Branch Lane to the Rock Creek Bike path. Taking the Rock Creek bike path north (hill), we pass the bridge over Viers Mill, under Norbeck and take the Right connector to the scenic Lake Frank path. At the Trailway connector we leave the Lake Frank trail (passing by our house) and end up at the North Lake School parking lot.
Most of the trail is on bike paths or lanes.
