Programming software for AT-588 mobile for 222-225 MHz

Hi Don, thanks for the heads up.? I should have mentioned I have that software but it doesn't work on the (apparently rare?) 222 MHz version of the 588.? I guess the 588 was also made for 2 and 440 MHz which were much more common.? I've reached out to RT Systems to see if there might be a work around, and will post what I find out here.

Update and great news? -? I emailed RT Systems tech support and they confirmed their AT-588 programming software works with all 3 versions of the radio - 2/222/440.? Once the software is connected to the radio via the USB-29A cable and can read the radio, it knows what band it is on and can be programmed for that band. I had been trying to 'pre-load' the software without the radio connected and in that case it defaults to 2 meters.

When I connected and powered up everything I was able to read it and it shows 223.500 simplex which I had the VFO set to, plus 32 memory frequencies the radio comes with from the factory. Interestingly these were all simplex frequencies between 236 and 261 MHz with a mixture of carrier squelch, CTCSS and DCS tones/codes.? I assume this was for testing at the factory as they list the frequency range as 220 - 260 MHz.
