Re: Conductive Paint

Yep, its whether or not frequencies > 10MHz emanate from it ?, I like the idea of the Double sided PCB boards¡. The silver plated copper paint is more reasonably priced, and as I suspect everyone will get some kind of metal box, its really only the front facia that you need to worry about, and the classic use of some double sided copper board, a laser printer and some Perspex can look very professional. Suspect cheaper to get PCB made up ?

?

I recently went to a seminar by Rohde & Schwarz here in the UK, and was tempted to go on one of their EMC seminars

2 things

  1. Quality equipment, at a ¡°quality¡± price ?
  2. Life is too short, ref EMC, thinking maybe I should have gone to an EMC seminar now¡.

?

As you say it¡¯s a T41-EP, with the emphasis on Experimental.

My understanding is that generally - measures that decrease emitted EMI
will
also decrease received EMI.

Thanks Bill,

so its Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR) IN that we should be concerned
about?

And in particular the range below that effects the Serial Peripheral
Interface (SPI) from the Teensy to the display?

Should we care about EMR from the device out? ?

I¡¯ll answer #2¡ the SPI can run at speeds up to 10 MHz¡ so
anything in the 0.5-10 MHz region is concerning.
