Its one of the most informative books in my library¡ There is an article about the ¡°Grounded Screen RF Amplifier¡±¡ which I had seen used in a couple of Collins military amplifiers.? I always wondered why¡ well, the analysis is in that book!? Shows that IMD is minimized in that configuration. Who knew??

The chapter on tuners explains exactly how a tuner works from a transform standpoint¡ and what the different configurations (C input, L to ground¡ and L input, C to ground) can cover from a transform standpoint (eg understanding what the transform impedance limitations are). ?Its done in R+iJ diagrams which make complete sense.

A late reply and update on this older thread.
Dr. Bill K9HZ highly recommends the "Single-Sideband Systems and Circuits" book.
I tried to buy a used copy a year ago for about $45 but the Amazon seller welched on the deal.? Today I received a copy from a different seller, for only about $25 this time.? There are still a couple copies on Amazon in the 'used' category, at prices $25 or so, and $45 or so, etc.
The newer, updated book by Sabin, "HF Radio Systems and Circuits", is at higher prices.? Used, ballpark $100 and up, new is $128.
