¿ªÔÆÌåÓýNick, A rather strange spectra. The Po-214 at 7.6 Mev has a strange shape and the beta down somewhere around 1.8 is distorting the curve fit. I wonder if that has an effect on the Rn calc and where is the Beta coming from? These tails don¡¯t look right. How dirty was this filter?. Re run this again with the proper filter same time same closed conditions. I suspect it¡¯s possible that Geo filter material is for airborne particulates and gamma and may not be suitable for alpha work. Dud ? ? ? ? From:
