Tuner cannot match any antenna and Effiency stays at 33 percent #atu-100

Hello,

I'm trying to assamble my ATU-100 kit, but the ATU wont match any antenna. I tried to rewind the tandem coils. I also changed from?enameled wire to isolated wire. Still the same. The SWR shows 9.99 and EFF at 33%. I borrowed an assambled ATU-100 from my friend and his working very well with matching the antena to SWR 1.0.?

Also when i soldered out the tandem i made some meassure looking for short circuits or something and everything looks fine... I have no idea what can I check in the next step.?

I have the newest firmware on the MCU.?

?

Thank you for any help,

I know I'm replying to an older message, however this might help someone in the future.
I had the same issue with my ATU-100. SWR 9.99 and EFF 33% all the time regardless of antenna etc.. I was searching for some help and came across this post.
Anyway I took my ATU-100 apart thinking of flashing new firmware and then noticed the ANT / TRX ports were mislabeled, they were reversed! All works good after correcting that issue.

Hi Singleshare,

I've just joined this group and your message solved my problem with an ATU-130 (similar to the ATU-100) that wasn't tuning.

However, in my case it was operator error. I had plugged the antenna into the "IN" socket and the radio into the "ANT" socket!

I now works as I swapped the coaxial cables over...

Tried to switch ANT and TRX but then I got like 0.2W measured and the ATU wont TUNE. I have still the issue and nobody has and idea whats wrong, even my other ham radio friends took it home to check for any faults.

Daniel, first of all you have to check if the power level and SWR are showing correct with 10% tolerance.
