"Fider loss input 0.5dB" #atu-100

The fast test on my atu-100 ext kit gives me above mentioned message, as the tuner seems to work. I have a problem to understand what that means - is that good or not?
Can anybody help me what I need to check or what to do?

Hello Roby,

You can configure the loss of the feeder line (cable loss) from the ATU to the antenna.
See the documentation of configuration cell 34:

"34 ¡ª cell for setting a feeder power loss ratio, the first number ¡ª integer part of?
decibell, second number ¡ª ten¡¯s parts of decibell. Velue by default ¡ª 1.2 (12 writen?
in the cell). this value uses for counting the power delivered to antenna. The loss?
value can be found in the reference data for the used cable or you can measure the exact value yourself.
?If it is not necessary to take into account feeder losses, the value 00 should be
written into the cell, then the calculations will correspond only to the mismatch
losses."

Also nichts Besorgniserregendes (Kabelversuste), d.h. ginge nur runter mit dickerem Coaxkabel.

War vorallem verwirrend da es auf dem Bildschirm steht ?fider loss¡° und nicht feeder¡­

ich bin erstaunt ¨¹ber die Anzeige. Welche Software Version hast Du? (Ich habe die Beschreibung ¨¹bersetzt und kann mich nicht an sowas erinnern)

Ich habe nach Immo's mail ([email protected]) auch ins Manual geschaut und folgendes ihm geschrieben:

Meine Firmware ist 3.2.

Ich glaube aber Joerg lag falsch.
Es ging da eher um folgenden Punkt (original Text englisch manual):

33 ¡ª cell for setting of an addidional indication mode,
value 00 ¡ª for indicating L and C only.
value 01 ¡ª for indicating the power delivered to the antenna and efficiency of fider
and transmitter §áwhen input power is enough for correct SWR meassuring.
By default is enable, value 01.
Warning!!! The device does not take into account its own efficiency.

Aber ich nehme an auch hierbei handelt es sich um kein eigentliches Problem. ?
