Checking an ATU-100 FW Ver. 3.2
#atu-100
Greetings,
Is there a written point to point test menu for checking problems for an ATU (China)100? I built it over a year ago and no problem, including dropped software the unit to recognize my QRP radios.? I am now using a 9:1 UNUN random wire at my shack and had some RF get loose in the shack. I resolved that completely, but I believe my unit is not working correctly now. Seems like less relays working to change the load to the radio.? A short version of how to check would be appreciated. The Firmware version is pictured below. Thanks for any help Regards to all

David,
Do I need to open the firmware to activate the tests or just press the Green reset button and check to see if all the relays are on? How do I check manually? My documentation was a minimum, basically a schematic, list of the parts, coils sizes and 1 picture. I will say it has run flawlessly for a year.? Thanks for the help David.? David and Patrick,
I have attached a link from IK3SSG and his work on getting the ATU-100 to QRP levels. This is what I did a year ago. I do have a Pickit3 to use to reprogram if needed. https://youtu.be/dPys_-_wPcQ Let me know your thoughts, I have used this ATU-100 for over a year with no issues until now and I believe very close output for SWR and Watts according to my a secondary mfj meters. Thanks for your help James |

Thank you for your answer. However, the hardware of the ATU-100 is normal. Because it works fine with the original firmware (N7DDC version). 2022Äê6ÔÂ5ÈÕ(ÈÕ) 11:23 David Fainitski <rolin791@...>: Hi. There are 2 test firmwares , you can use both of them to find burned transistors or bad soldering. "Fast test" just turn all the relays on and you can check everything with multimeter. |
