--Massive thankyou for this project

Good Afternoon David.? N7DDC
My name is David also G4RVH.
I thank you for this very clever project and the help I've received from this forum.? Well done David.
I did build the Picatune years ago but personally prefer your software.
42 years ago my Mate Brian G6NRA and myself had passed the RAE exams in 1982 so of course I couldn't afford to go out and buy anything except buy enough components to build a CW transmitter and my first Superhetradyn 40 meter receiver so had to null the receiver with the 7mhz transmitter to be on frequency to work a station.
A long story short.? Brian being single went straight out and bought the Flagship transceiver which then was the Trio 930s 100 watts out and all bands SSB &? CW.
But he didn't stop there as he also purchased the SG230 Auto Tuning Unit as well.? Anyhow I was on First Shift and he rang me to go round to Kells on my way home as he had no confidence to do anything with these 2 units at all.
So went to his house after work and connected his Trio 930s up the SG230 and on the White Ceramic Terminal Post connected a piece of wire about 30 foot long and clipped it with a washing peg to his mother washing line in the garden.? I also cut about 15 foot of wire and just literally threw it onto the ground in his Kitchen and connected it to the Earth Post on the SG230.? I rang my Dad in Milton-Keynes Village 300 miles away to come onto the air with his Trio 520.? I did a quick tune and within seconds about 1:5 match and called my dad's callsign G4VVH and he came right back and said your a very strong signal son ur 59 and he was the same with me 59 both ways.? We carried on talking for about 30 minutes.? We both stood back and were totally amazed.
Moving on.
So this afternoon I decided to do the exact same with my newly built ATU-100.? I just run enough wire to go from the shack to the light in the back garden about 30 foot to the RF Out Berrillium Copper post and then cut a random length of about 15 to 20 foot and connected that to my Berrillium Copper Earth Post and laid on the shack floor.
Then connected the output from my HF RF amp on the WSPR System and toggled my Attenuator switch to give a quick burst of 15 watts to tune up the ATU-100 and literally within seconds all matched just the same as the SG230 had done all of those years ago.
So personally I am in total AWE WOW
What a brilliant piece of equipment to have.? So pleased. 3 photos attached?
