Re: programming the atu 100
Gregg Lebovitz
Paul,
The tuner uses a PIC chip that is different than an Arduino. The PIC must be programmed with a PICkit 2,3,or 4 and software for uploading the firmware to the PIC via the PICkit. The answer to your question is no you cannot use an Arduino board to program the PIC. Gregg |
ATU 100 kit for sale

Hi
I have an unbuilt ATU 100 kit for disposal. When I say kit, the PCB only has the processor and the tuning caps fitted, the remainder of the parts, including surface mount types are provided but will need to be soldered to the board.? I have taken a few of the surface mount components from the kit to fix a ready built ATU, notably the swr sensor diodes and one or two transistors and surface mount caps...these were over provided, so there may be enough. Display may not work, but is provided SMA connectors provided, but no case. Good source of spares or a complete build. Sold as described, no guarantee!? ?15 plus postage 73 Steve G4EDG |
Re: programming the atu 100
Hi, Paul.
Theoretically it is possible to create a sketch to programm needed processor, a simple serial protocol is using but I never heard about somebody did it.? It will be smarter to buy a cheap clone pickit 3 and have the possibility to programm all the PIC controllers and use special software to do that.? Also I would ask you to read and follow the policy rules in the pinned message at the top of the main page. Thank you .? |
Re: programming the atu 100
开云体育His answer was ’NO it can’t” and he was helping you by ?telling you what you need to program the ATU-100.They are totally different chips. If you had done some research you would know this. People on here are trying to help you. There is no need for sarcasm

Re: programming the atu 100

Re: programming the atu 100
Dave you say the answer was done, how is that then?,i already know a dedicated programer can do the job,the whole question was about trying to use an arduino to do the same, telling me to buy a pkit3 doesent answer my original question,if you think it does can you explaine?,regards.73
