Dave you say the answer was done,how is that then?,i already know a dedicated programer can do the job,the whole question was about trying to use an arduino to do the same,telling me to buy a pkit3

for what its worth powering my kit build chineese atu-100 from my lab psu,i find it works( not tried to tune!) well the display is on down to about 6.5v.
