best settings using HF VARA

Robert Cartier All Messages By This Member #38059 I am trying to be good newbie so any help would be appreciated. ? Is there a document that shows the proper configuration to play nice with others ? I thought I set beaconing to every 10 min but find after that it starts transmitting and continues for quite some time beaconing my-call-->wide1-1->APWW11 . is there other settings I need to address so as to not tie up the frequency? ? Steve All Messages By This Member #38060 Hi Rob, You say nothing of your set-up using APRSISCE32, is this IS only or hooked up to a radio and if so also a TNC.? Denis All Messages By This Member #38062 开云体育 Good morning Rob, Welcome to HF APRS. On the 30M band we set our Beacons to every 45Min or 60Min. Also the WIDE Path is not used.
