For others reading this post just a little background about myself,

I am not the most technical person in the World and KJ4ERJ SK I think understood when I offered to admin in his passcode service that its something I have done for more than 20 years for two different giants in the World of APRS. Formerly Roger Barker G4IDE of UiView32 fame who I both beta tested his program for several years before learning he had just Months to live from cancer, his passcode and registration service for UiView 32 dried up instantly and I knew him well enough to ask him through an immediate family member if I could run it for him until further help came along from a great bunch of fellow hams and friends that stepped forward to continue help and support.

For quite a few months and on my own I ran the passcode and registration service and his program was a paid for service so this was converted to a Free but please donate to any cancer charity that you would care for, he agreed to that format and I with help carried that on until UiView registration became automated.

I joined up with KJ4ERJ SK at about this time and around almost a decade ago now gave up entirely to help Lynn until the present date and hopefully until I too go to meet my friends who are SK in heaven or wherever APRS actually takes us!

I have used the aprs?written by the Sproul brothers, UiView32 and latterly? APRSISCE32 and as my active radio days have gone I only used a pc copy of Lynns wonderful creation and have never used it connected to any form of RF.

I have operated Igates using a VX5r, Kenwoods D700 and D710 and an Icom 706Mk?II G both mobile and at the qth.

As I have mostly stayed very quiet on this reflector, the admin side along with my many other hobbies including aviation, SatComs for marine messaging keep me very busy and WX reporting keep me far from getting bored, I have "eyes on the glass" for passcodes far too? long in a regular day as sleep eludes me.

I don't want our new group owner to read the last part or he will expect more for even less (hi hi)

If you have made no changes to radio the program and other hooked up equipment, apart from a reboot of the equipment check the hook ups are ok and if you have any spares swap them out, Windows has been issuing?some dodgy updates lately in both Win 11 and win 10 and I had to use the roll back to a previous time to get one of my programs?working again, mainly a USB issue

Try that and hopefully Rob KB8RCO who will no doubt read this later may offer better help, if it turns out to be my suggestion take the knobs of your laptop and put a lock on Windows updates, check the update history and see if one was new at the start of this

I am running an IGATE on the above equipment and am having some issues with the IGATE not passing messages to RF.?

For instance; I use my FT5D to send a message to my buddy that also use a FTM500 but the message stays on the IGATE same thing happens when he sends to me, both of us are always in range of the IGATE, but if I send from radio to someone using APRSDROID the messages reaches them and I get replies from them, the messages just won't go from radio to radio, could I be missing something, anyone has a fix for this and willing to share I certainly will appreciate it.?
