Re: KJ4ERJ - Silent Key

I have been reeling from this sense I first read it last evening.?

So sorry for the families loss. Lynn was always willing to help via private email, group email, APRS Messaging, or even a phone call... He was a force in the APRS community as I'm sure he was in everything he did in his life. He was always a positive and supportive leader in the hobby...?

I know that I will be doing my best to step up my contributions to help the APRS foundation because of his example.?

Son of Lynn
I have a vague memory of Lynn saying he was looking at UIView with his son when he decided to write what became APRSIS32 - maybe it's on the website - not sure. I think it was in the 2010 time frame when I read it. If that was you, thanks for helping inspire him!

I was really surprised and disappointed to read the news. Then I looked up his age - 64. Wow, I'm 64. I'm grateful for Lynn's willingness to not only code a great app but also support it actively. He will be sorely missed. I never met him in person, but I expect he was a fun and interesting guy to be around.
