Re: RF-PATH and IS(WIDE) ???

Do you perchance have Enables / Ports / Log All checked?? And if so, you should have some *.PKT files that hopefully contain all packets received by your station.? That should have all the details that I'd need to hazard a guess at answers to your questions.

Hi Lyn,

My APRSIS32 is only on RF not on APRSIS.
Have a look at the attachment please.
Could it be that someone is Gating from APRS-IS to RF or mangling the PACKETS and confuses APRSIS32?
Or maybe SZ4SRM-11 and SV3ISZ-3 have got AXIP ports via Internet between them because they are more than 600 kms away from each other and they seem to have a direct link between them, while the DIGIS in between on the mountain tops cannot hear the one form the north. It could be a lift on 144800 kHz but it lasts for days and weeks and I am not sure if this is possible.

Also the 1st station a few minutes before the captured phone also showed IS(WIDE) and not RF PATH, but after a while, when I decided to capture it, the 1st one changed from IS(WIDE) to RF PATH.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.
