1. On my radio display, I can see the station popups and hear the APRS audio squawk. With the radio TX Beep on, I hear it beep periodically. Looking at APRS.FI again, I see "Stations which heard N4SRN directly" has a list of stations that are indeed hearing me today.
2. My radio squelch knob is fully CW. Elsewhere I had read that if CCW, the radio would always see the channel by busy and not transmit. Dunno...
3. The cable is a commercial clone of a Kenwood PG-5G. I also tried a 2nd serial cable I use in my moble rig (RTSystems USB-K5G) both connected on COM3 9600 none, 8 1. My radio's Ext. Data Speed is 1200 bps (919) corresponding to TNC APRS12 and both COM Port Baud Rate (929) and PC Port Baud Rate (920) are 9600 bps. Com Port (604) is ON.
4. Configure>Port>KDW710 is configured as KDW710(KDW700(KISS)) with Checked:? RF to IS, Enabled, Messages, Xmit Enabled (others unchecked)
So, what's happening is my APRSIS32 installation is working via internet APRSIS alone but can't see any directly received RF from my radio.?
