You don't say how you were trying to connect the Bluetooth GPS.
What did you try as a connection type with the Bluetooth GPS?
I don't have the tablet, and I know some tablets are difficult to work with for GPS.
On my Windows Laptop, I was able to connect using Menu >Configure >Ports >NMEA and choose Bluetooth and my Bluetooth GPS device was listed.
When I've tried to connect through a virtual serial port, it always fails.
