Are you sure it doesn't say "29 Sat in use"??? If you see colored
boxes at the bottom, then APRSIS32 is communicating with your GPS.
Can you send a screen shot of APRSIS32 when it is using your GPS?

the newest update of Windows 11 Home V22H2, so the GPS-5 Receiver
will not cause a Port in Device Manager.
I tried a Globalsat BU-353N5 Receiver, since it uses an FTDI chip.
However, it will not transmit my position to APRS.fi, and only the
bottom colored boxes of satellites show up with the next line
showing "29 At in use". No clue what that might mean.
