AA¡¯s founding is universally agreed as Bill¡¯s enduringly successful outreach to Bob in June 1935 after Bob¡¯s last drinking episode. We still argue about the exact date of that month, too, but our success began with that watershed event. ? Hell, even the 4th of July ¡®birth of the US¡± followed the formal and binding July 2 signing of the Declaration of Independence. Should we celebrate July 2nd? I think I¡¯ll pass on that one¡ ?
