Jim,
Those images Not only would be welcomeand deeply appreciated here but I have more to say about our reverence for you and the work you do:
AAHL and silkworth.info are sister sites as far as I'm concerned. Thus, anything you'd ever care to link to or share here (or we can cross share things), anything you want to post here for posterity is more than welcome, always. It's very much appreciated.
Your site is incredibly valuable, also, so anything that can help with context over here (or there) is more than welcome.
That's the beautiful thing about archives and history, when done right, we're on the same team anyway.
Now as for the data. I have high hopes for it. in fact, I have a few ideas that I am playing around with in terms of the data and if even one works out then we're golden-- and if they don't then I'm going to probably have to make this a group project. But I'm trying to avoid that simply to get it all done and to try to free up everybody else who's working on their individual projects, so that they are not pulled away from that.
I'm not happy about how we got here of courae, who would be, but we're here anyway and digital AA is really starting to take off! There's a true Renaissance and a new thirst and excitement for AA history going on right now and we need to make sure we nurture it as a team. If you look over at the AA History Lovers site on Facebook that is the other branch of the AAHL "network" we are building together, we just crossed 2500 members over there! That's no accident. This is amazing and I know that Glenn and Nancy are smiling right now, I can just feel it.
Please forgive any typos for now, I'll probably clean them up later if there are any, I'm on mobile using voice input at the moment.
Best,
Thom
