This is going to be a sticky thread where I make announcements to configuration changes and other things that I'm doing as I work towards ramping up this group to make it as dialed-in as possible.
For example, one of the changes that has been made is that you will now receive a daily digest instead of single messages (by default). You will no longer receive by default an email every single time somebody posts or replies to something, unless you decide to follow that message. You can override any of these settings and change it back if you like, so it shouldn't be a problem. I'm just trying to make it so that we don't get so much incoming email in our personal accounts as this forum grows. But if you like it the old way, simply go into your settings and change it back. And if you want even less emails than a daily digest you even have that option two, go look. This platform is really awesome. :)
I also recommend to create a dedicated Gmail (or whatever service you like) that you then use just for this AAHL account so that you can see all of your own history at your own personal email account , as well. I just think that would be neat. It is not at all required of course but if you like the idea, by all means do it.
You can always update your email address in settings at any time.
As I make other additions and changes moving forward, I will be posting updates here in this announcement thread as to what they are.
You can always send me comments and feedback as a direct mesage or email if you have any concerns or ideas and if we feel we need a group conscience on something I'll just create a chatroom for it or something or even a poll, no big deal.
But to keep this particular thread dense with information I'm going to keep it locked for now.?
