Founder’s Day today and I wax back to 1981 when I painted the attached portraits.? In the process, I had asked Nell Wing (Bill’s secretary for 25 years) to describe the physical characteristics (hair and eye color, etc.). When completed I sent Nell photos of Bill and Dr. Bob and she commented as you can read in the attachment. I actually met Nell, very briefly. at the 1995 International Convention in San Diego. This is, of course, ?one of my favorite AA keepsakes. The originals are hanging at my local club.
