Seattle is looking to acquire a lefty bat upgrade at 1B or the OF. I would also be interested in a SP upgrade. Here is what I can offer, along with my draft picks.
Hitters: Will Benson - young OF with pop Brandon Marsh - lefty OF, good splits vs RHP
Brent Rooker - great DH, would consider moving for another good bat Marcus Semien - 1 at 2B every year Jacob Stallings - good catcher for this season Christian Walker - 1B with power and defense?
Pitchers: Jose Alvarado - closer Luis Castillo - consistent SP, lots of IPs and very good splits vs RHB Craig Kimbrel - closer Frankie Montas - veteran SP, just signed with NYM Joe Musgrove - good season but hit with the injury bug Justin Verlander - veteran with IPs
?
|
I have many 3/4 SP types which are VERY hard to find in the draft.? Looking for OFs and 2B or picks.? Would also do a talent consolidation with multiple players for your one.
?
Springer, George Walls, Taylor ?Comment: SS-1 Feltner, Ryan Lynn, Lance Martin, Chris ?Comment: Great relief season Mikolas, Miles Moll, Sam Springs, Jeffrey Stroman, Marcus
?
Thanks,

Each team will protect 12 players PLUS a maximum of 2 players eligible for the AA roster (minor leaguers) PLUS a maximum of 5 that can be assigned to AAA prior to the draft.
25- Limits for AAA protects. For hitters, use PA (before the factor), and for pitchers, use IP x 3. The total usage you may keep on your I.R. prior to the draft is 600. For example, you could place 3 hitters totaling 300 PA, plus 1 pitcher with 100 IP (300 + 300 = 600). You could also place only one player on the IR, a hitter with 600 PA or a pitcher with 200 IP. If you only assign one player to AAA, you can exceed the 600 limit.
(Max number of AAA players is 5.? However, could be less based on max of 600 points)

1. Jay's question - You can never move players from AA to AAA, or from any of your rosters to another one. AA players are minor leaguers and must stay in AA. Once you've designated players as AAA players (12/31 deadline), they are AAA players for the entire season and may not be used in games. Even if traded away, the AAA designation sticks with them.
?
What I meant in the earlier email is that there is a limit of 2 AA players MAX prior to 12/31. Patrick recently put out an email saying he was looking to make deals involving AA players. The purpose of my email was to remind everyone that you cannot go over 2 AA players prior to your roster cutdowns on 12/31. Starting 1/1, you can have as many as you like via trades. Just remember that there are no free agent pickups, so make sure you have enough usage if doing so.
?
2. Jimmy's question - All rosters can be found on StratDraft.com. You should all have an account already. If not, let me know and I'll send your password. You can actually see the rosters even without an account. Simply go to the list of leagues on the right side of the home page, click on 'AAA Strat League', then click on Draft Views, View My Competition. Then you can select any team and see the rosters. Scroll all the way to the bottom to see their 2024 stats. The upper portion of the screen shows 2023 stats. Once SOM releases their ratings, they will be moved to the top along with their latest fielding ratings.
Cian, where can we find the rosters for all the teams?
?
Hi Ken,
?
For us new managers, could you please explain what that means, that seems confusing.
How can you go over that amount if you draft 2 players. Are you saying during the season you can take players from AAA and put them in AA. I don’t see how that’s possible when they have major league experience or are you only referring to trading for AA players and that’s the only way?
?
Thanks

Simply go to the list of leagues on the right side of the home page, click on 'AAA Strat League', then click on Draft Views, View My Competition. Then you can select any team and see the rosters. Scroll all the way to the bottom to see their 2024 stats. The upper portion of the screen shows 2023 stats. Once SOM releases their ratings, they will be moved to the top along with their latest fielding ratings. Cian, where can we find the rosters for all the teams? ?Hi Ken,
For us new managers, could you please explain what that means, that seems confusing. How can you go over that amount if you draft 2 players. Are you saying during the season you can take players from AAA and put them in AA. I don’t see how that’s possible when they have major league experience or are you only referring to trading for AA players and that’s the only way?
Thanks

What I meant in the earlier email is that there is a limit of 2 AA players MAX prior to 12/31. Patrick recently put out an email saying he was looking to make deals involving AA players. The purpose of my email was to remind everyone that you cannot go over 2 AA players prior to your roster cutdowns on 12/31. Starting 1/1, you can have as many as you like via trades. Just remember that there are no free agent pickups, so make sure you have enough usage if doing so.
2. Jimmy's question - All rosters can be found on StratDraft.com. You should all have an account already. If not, let me know and I'll send your password.
