AAA Update

Nice progress on the draft guys. Tomorrow (Tuesday) we will progress to one-hour between picks, and by the current pace, I'm sure we'll be fine.
?
Auxiliary Players - These are mostly our AA players and some of our uncarded AAA players - Strat Draft does not handle these guys when they are traded. Every time one of them is traded, I need to delete the player and re-enter them under their new team. I'm not going to keep doing this. From this point forward, The Google Sheet (GS) will be the official reference for player ownership. Since we are using SD for trades, if you are making a trade involving such a player, ADD the comment into the text section it creates when entering a trade. For example, if you're trading a AA player that doesn't exist on your SD roster, at the end of the text string created when you propose a trade on SD, simply add 'Team A also receives AA player Walker Jenkins'.
?
Trading -?NEVER enter a trade twice! This causes problems in SD. If you are not sure it went through the first time, go back and View Transactions to see if it's already there.
?
Trading Draft Picks - SD for some stupid reason will actually allow a manager to attempt to trade picks they do not actually own. It will tell you later down the road that something doesn't look right with the picks or players selected and ask you if you want to process it anyway. If you get this message, PLEASE DO NOT CONTINUE. If two teams have traded picks ALREADY, let's say TBA owns SEA 1st pick, and SEA owns TBA 1st pick, and TBA now decides they want to move that pick again, they need to list the pick of the original owner. In this example, TBA would be trading the SEA 1st pick.?
Yes, this is confusing, and if you don't fully understand it, please ask me prior to entering the trade. This causes big messes in SD.
?
Trade Winds - Last year, in our Inaugural Season, there was no trading of picks allowed. I believe at one point, there was no trading at all allowed. I set it up originally like this in order to keep the trade-bullies from altering the competitive balance of the league, in a league I set up to be very competitive. In the off-season, one of the proposed rule changes was to allow trading, which by majority, passed. Lately we have had quite a few trades be questioned for fairness. Guys - what the hell do we want? DON'T ANSWER THIS- This is a rhetorical question.
?
We have already put one trade up for review by a group committee I appointed. There was a second one made that there were whispers about, but nobody officially asked for a trade review. Now a little birdie is telling me that other trades are being questioned privately. Here is the current rule regarding trades. If anyone believes ANY trade needs review based on the following, you must notify me by email and I will decide, or appoint a TC as noted. It is okay to question a trade made by the Commissioner.
The Commissioner may dis-allow a trade if it is felt it is not in the best interest of the league. He may also appoint a panel (Trade Committee) to vote on such trades. This potential veto ability will not be abused. Trades made where both managers truly believe they are helping their teams should be allowed unless they are grossly unfair, or it is believed unethical reasons for the trade existed.
