Hey guys/gals,?

I Just joined the group and I'm glad there's still groups like this out there talking about and using these old lathes. Cool story: my great grandpa ran a lathe in a factory making crank shafts for diesel military ships. He bought this 109 lathe for my grandpa for his 12th birthday, and recently, my grandpa gave it to me. My great grandpa was a machinist, my grandpa was/is a machinist / tool and die maker, and i've been professionally CNC machining for 2 years now. I think it's awesome that it's stayed in the family this long. Anyways, i'm glad to have found this group and look forward to learning and sharing with you all. Thanks!
