One of the chucks that were used for armatures was just a pretty plain Jacobs chuck that threaded onto the spindle . Seems that everyone has to have one .? A good 3-jaw is probably just as accurite

Just joined and recently finished rebuilding a 109 that is in good shape and quite complete. ?Added an armature chuck set to it, a new non-independent 4 jaw chuck, and an Aloris-like tool holder.

Dave, AFAIK. None of the AA built machines had a serial number. At least none of the ones in the database have one reported. That even includes the one 109.21280 that has been reported.
