Re: Purchase or not to
George, I sympathize with your Classic's problems. We've all had some of them. The Off Road package is a misnomer. It does not mean the camper is built for off roading, or even rough roads. Only that

Re: Purchase or not to
George, We've had an entirely different experience with our '16 LXE. The day we picked it up it had been raining and unit was popped up waiting for us, totally dry inside. The dealer also hosed it

Re: Purchase or not to
we have a 2015 Classic--off road package. Each time we have gone out with it we have had problems. I had to repair all the foam seals in the roof panels that fell down after a couple of up/downs. The

Re: Cooler Cozy
I think a Block of Ice "might" last 3 days in "normally" hot weather inside a cozy that has a "space blanket" wrapped around it. But not in 107* ambient temps! I've found that a "lawn chair"

Re: Purchase or not to
For price guidance, look at NADA & KBB. NADA is probably still free, also available at Libraries. Kelly Blue Book has a charge. I would also look at the AOC site for ideas. What part of the Country

I use the grey water to put out my camp fire at night. Not sure if it is right but it works for me.

Re: Corrosion
Mike, I lived in Hawaii, two miles in, and 500 ft up from the beach. The appliances in our house rusted quickly if they got a nick in the paint. Even without direct salt spray, rust is a big problem

Re: Showers in Yellowstone Nat'l park campgrounds
The US Forest Service campgrounds in the San Bernardino Mtns and Joshua Tree NP both have explicit restrictions against dishwater and shower water disposal on the ground. I camp in one or the other

Cooler Cozy
Hi Carol, I like your idea of making a cooler cozy. I also travel with a plastic Coleman 28 quart cooler in the backseat foot area of my 2011 Honda CRV. It fits there perfectly with the front

Propane pigtail .... connector to regulator bypass valve
Have 2010 Aliner Classic that has two propane tanks. The OEM pigtails were about 10" long overall. I have been told that the replacement pigtail needs to be 1/4" male pipe thread. Most of the

Re: Showers in Yellowstone Nat'l park campgrounds
I agree with Fred's thoughts. Yellowstone is the strictest of all the parks I have been to, both in and out of the USA, in 74 nations! They fine people in a New York minute. Lots t see in the area and

Re: Got a leak in a crack in front bubble window
The store "5 Below" has plastic woven "beach blankets" (NOT a blanket). I bought 6-8 of these & use one until it falls apart. Water passes through, pick up and shake to get dirt off & roll up -- about

Re: Showers in Yellowstone Nat'l park campgrounds
I've never seen a precise rule about shower water, but I doubt it. They're really strict about water disposal. You're not even allowed to dump a pan of dishwater on the ground. You have to carry it up
