Re: Trailer sway
I have measured the "squareness" of my axle-to-frame using the diagonal method and it is within 1/8". I think that qualifies as "square", so that is not the source of the tire wear I'm experiencing.

Re: Trailer sway
From what I have seen on my 2009 Aliner Classic, there is no available adjustment of the axle to the frame.? The holes are just large enough to accommodate the bolts.? That said, I have never had

Kia Sportage towing a Scout Lite
I have a 2023 Kia Sportage S fwd, with tow hitch and brake controller. Can I tow an Aliner Scout Lite safely? I am a solo minimalist camper, so no gear load over 200 lbs.

Re: 2014 2.5L Subaru Outback versus Aliner Ranger 12
We have towed the Ranger 12 thousands of miles over mountains with our 2014 Outback 2.5L. While it doesn't go uphill very fast, we have had no problems. We treat the car gently: RPM under 4,000. We

Be careful with getting a hybrid.? When the hybrid battery has charge, you'll have lots of power.? But when the hybrid battery gets depleted on a long hill, then you have only the gas engine, and

Re: Trailer sway
That's good question. I have never measured my load balance, although I am cognizant of where the weight is placed. I would expect, though, that an imbalance would cause higher wear on *one* tire.

Re: Trailer sway
In your subject, you use the word "sway". Is your load balance off? As you travel down the road, is your camper tracking right behind you, or is it rocking from side to side, even if ever so

I tow a Chalet Arrowhead with an older v6 Tacoma and average about 17 mpg. The only issue with a hybrid is the cvt transmission and towing capacity. Newer vehicles ok if they are rated to tow at least
