Re: New A-Frame Facebook Group (A-Liners Out West)
Hey! Quick question for ya, do you have any info on the picture you used for the group? Specifically I'm curious about the two straps on the front roof of the aliner and what they are used for.

Re: lift assist
Hey, this is the first I've seen this idea mentioned online. We just got an ALiner a couple weeks ago and I came up with basically this same idea for how to make an auto lift and high wind restraint

Re: Installing a Rear View Camera-2016 Expedition
Don, thank you very much. Where do you mount the rear camera? On the tow vehicle, or on the back of the A-liner? If on the A-liner, is there an extension cable available? Thanks again. Jerry

Folks, I didn't see the model number or source for the wireless rear view (back-up) camera discussed. I'd appreciate the particulars. Thanks much. Jerry Molnar

Re: refrigerator vent fan
I bypassed the thermocouple in mine since the fan was only coming on when it got really hot out.? I also mounted 2 fans instead of the one loud factory fan that comes with the fridge.? Then I

Re: refrigerator vent fan
Dave, Why would the fan not start immediately when the switch is flipped, without the thermistor in the circuit?? Mine was functioning, but I wanted to run mine full time, so I bypassed it.

Re: refrigerator vent fan
I did this one afternoon because I had some extra 1/8 by 1/2" aluminum angle. I had to do some cutting with a hacksaw to not impede airflow.? I use the original sensor.

With this spate of posts about fridge space cooling fans, I thought I'd add my two bits worth. Scroll down for the fan replacement. http://jeeps-folbots-etc.epizy.com/camping/aliner/repairs/fixes.html

Re: refrigerator vent fan
I did this some time ago, but not with a 12 volt inline thermocouple like the one installed on the cooling fins of a Dometic fridge. Instead, SilenX offers an integral thermocouple in their EFX-12-15T

Re: refrigerator vent fan
I generally agree. One fan is all you'll need. To make this even simpler, start by running the fridge until the old fan starts. Switch it off with the fan switch mounted on your cabinet. Then just

Re: Installing a Rear View Camera-2016 Expedition
This camera works very well for backing up as it has a wide field of vision. We use it in city traffic to see if there is anything behind us that our mirrors don't catch, it does not replace mirrors
