Re: Door Lock Failure
You can search Amazon for "white rv door lock" and see a bunch of sellers.? The model # appears to be 43610. But all the sellers I looked at had a small percent of 1 star reviews that said the lock

Re: Door Lock Failure
It happened to me twice. The solution was to ask one of my child to go through the cargo door and unlock it from inside.? Both time, it was the deadbolt mechanism that was stuck/jammed/broken.?

It came from the factor in 2020. Do you know of a replacement?

Re: Door Lock Failure
That's a known failure.? They had a recall of the door locks at one point.? I'd highly recommend you get a new door lock.? Just curious, was this the door lock that came from the factory, or one

Re: Door Lock Failure
I have recently started my second can of 3 in 1 lock dry lube.? I have used it on the stabilizer threads occasionally also.? It did an amazing job on my Dutch door latch too!

Door Lock Failure
The dead bolt lock on our Ranger 12 failed today, locking us out. The key was stuck halfway between to open and locked positions, and would not turn. We were considering looking for someone small

Re: No DC power to camper
That is the case - reading 20 volts on the battery terminals. And that is my conclusion as well. I'm lugging it out for testing. -- Alex Sproul '05 Classic '02 Suburban

Re: Charging with a Honda 2000i generator
I have dealt with this issue since 2004 because I camp off grid a lot in the high sierras and cascades and a variety of other locales.? I bought the Honda 12-volt charge cable for my EU2000i Honda

Re: Charging with a Honda 2000i generator
Determining when your battery is "topped off" will be difficult.? Lead acid batteries take forever to charge the last 10%, and the surface charge left on a battery after charging makes determining

Re: Charging with a Honda 2000i generator
Steve, great input thank you.? This is what I needed.? My Schumacher has 30 amp setting, and automatically goes to maintain when fully charged.? But my converter is very good as well.? I think

Re: No DC power to camper
If you end up replacing the converter, I'd check the specs on the Progressive Dynamics.? I chose it over the WFCO. PD4100 Series - Progressive Dynamics | | | | | | | | | | | PD4100

Re: No DC power to camper
Sorry, but I can't see any way the battery itself is "putting out" 20 volts. By this, do you mean you are measuring 20 volts on the battery when disconnected from shore power (i.e. the

Re: No DC power to camper
It's not; the battery is. The converter is putting out 10. -- Alex Sproul '05 Classic '02 Suburban

Re: Charging with a Honda 2000i generator
Do not use your Schumacher standalone charger, and do not use the DC output of the generator either!? Plug the power cord of your trailer into the AC outlet on your generator, and let your converter

Re: Loss of DC Power
Measuring voltage is funky.? Two dissimilar pieces of metal will generate a voltage, but the current is almost zero.? I've measured 12 something volts on circuits when the battery is disconnected.?

Honda 2000i spec is 8 amps DC @ 12 volts.? Would take a long time to charge at that rate.? Save your money and use your charger. Doug M

Best to start at the beginning? I would first off double check your volt meter settings, make sure it is set to DC voltage and the proper range 20v etc . Then measure the voltage directly at the
