Before I had lift assist installed and when my springs were shot I used a 2-in1 Cargo/Freight Bar from Harbor Freight.? It has a 3x5 flat pad on the end.? I would stand inside and push against the ceiling to o raise into place. Hopefully I wasn't doing any damage
