Be careful here.? Karen you have the small trailer and Dan may have a larger trailer.? With your smaller trailer you have to check turning clearance.? Hitch up your trailer, go to a parking lot, and turn in as tight of a circle as you can. You might want to do that in stages to make sure the car doesn't hit the trailer.? If it doesn't hit, measure the distance between the rear corner of the car and your trailer, and make sure a bike/rack doesn't exceed that distance.
I also don't know if your trailer can handle the extra 50 lbs or so on the trailer tongue.? I'd call aliner and ask.? You're probably OK on that but asking won't hurt.
Lastly make sure your car can handle the extra tongue weight.
