Dave, as always, thank you for your insightful response.? No specific temp readings....rather, I did the "How are my bearings doing touch test". ?? ?One side was slightly warm.? The other side was too hot to touch for more than a second or two.? ?At any rate, I am going to repack bearings on both sides.? The bearings, nor the hub on the "hot" side does not show any evidence of problems.? Nut appeared to be snugged and backed off correctly.? ?I'll clean things off and repack.? Will add outer washers.? Will ensure the brakes are not dragging.? Will report back on the outcome.? Thanks again, Jerry
