Old Friends (Tatia/Rayna/Finn)

Tatia carefully ascended the stairs into the attic where a coffin was safely tucked away¡inside her sleeping friend. It seemed odd at times that she'd befriended the long lost daughter of the very woman responsible for so much of her pain but perhaps it was the reason they had bonded in the first place. While their stories were different both had things taken from them by Esther Mikaelson.

At the top of the stairs she opened the door quietly entering the attic even though there was no chance of waking Freya. Her brown eyes roaming over the various boxes as she gracefully navigated her way toward the back checking to make sure nothing was disturbed.

She found it simple enough to prevent others of her kind from entering the townhouse as all that was required was for the name on the deed to be that of a living person making an invitation required. Choosing someone for this responsibility was a simple enough task as for a little more than three decades she'd had the privilege of calling the Bennett family her friends.

Her trip to the small town of Mystic Falls where long ago her home once stood was a shocking experience as nothing had been the same. Thoughts of that place often brought her mind back to a set of brothers she¡¯d been torn between centuries ago.?She stepped up to the coffin carefully raising its lid then closing it back upon seeing her friend still fast asleep. It might be a long shot but she still hoped the Bennetts might one day be able to help her remedy Freya¡¯s little Dahlia problem.?

She turned making her way out of the attic descending the stairs at a leisurely pace while thoughts briefly turned to the Huntress she'd managed to form an alliance of sorts with not long after the founding families had rounded up all the vampires during her stay in Mystic Falls just over three decades ago. Few of her kind could claim as much when it came to Rayna Cruz as usually she'd just kill them.?

¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª

Forty years ago, Rayna Cruz set herself on a path to revenge with a visit to the shamans though she hadn't been completely prepared for all the ways in which their magic would change her. For the most part she was given certain attributes they deemed necessary for the job at hand which was all well and good but it also did something to her mind.

Since that night she was left with this unrelenting drive that never afforded her a moments peace or the chance to enjoy the simple things in life that so many took for granted. In the beginning it had been a struggle learning to curb that desire and not kill for the sake of killing when it came to vampires.?

Perhaps it all started with meeting a woman named Tatia Petrova who through both word and deed had shown her that not all of her kind were monsters to be put down. It was that chance encounter that led to an odd sort of friendship, if one could label it as such, and a slight change in her way of thinking.

She sat quietly in one of the chairs found in the parlor with her sword easily within reach in spite of knowing that only vampires invited inside by the Bennett witch could gain access to their home. It still messed with her mind a bit that she'd chosen to live under the same roof as one whose kind she wished to eradicate.

¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª

Tatia moved through the hallways until she reached another set of stairs gracefully descending them as well then heading into the parlor where the huntress was seated. At times their interactions were relaxed, almost friendly, and others the tension was almost palpable.?

She wondered if the other woman's motives for traveling with her stemmed from some desire to protect the others from her. It was entirely possible even though at one time she had conceded that she was hardly the ¡®worst of the worst¡¯ which was the sort the huntress preferred having at the end of her sword.?

Re: The Witch is Back (Qetsiyah/Fedora/etc)

"So nice it is to meet a very distant cousin,"Fedora spoke, her soft voice lightly accented with? German...or was it Russian.
?
"I belong to an order of...well some could call us monsters, but those would only be small minded cruel people who are afraid of their own shadow," she said, voice full of contempt.
?
"But the nine have spawned a creature they call Vlad Dracula. This one has been given far too much power and far too many abilities. This is getting in our way...well because he isn't one of ours."
?
Were? he one of theirs, well that would be an entirely different matter for his power could be used toward their own goals, freeing? Dis and raising them all to? God status. But as it wasn't, he needed to go before things got messy.
?
?
"In truth it isn't all about? him. He and the nine are just? the first pins who need to be knocked down before the fun can begin," Fedora said with a smile.
?
?
"There are so many things to show you in this new world. So many delights and wonders over which to marvel and in which to revel. I would be glad to? teach you the ropes," she invited. "These days it is hard to find people that one can trust. As we say...some things never change, ay?"??
?
Of course though the witch's story had become a legend, it was one which Fedora knew well, so she would know more? than most how far misplaced trust got one.

Re: The Witch is Back (Qetsiyah/Fedora/etc)

Qetsiyah was slowly giving each one present a once over finding their garments strange but no stranger than finding herself able to interact with the world again after all this time. Her first inclination was to ask whether the fate of her former lover remained unchanged or if someone found his tomb and gave him a new lease on life (one he hardly deserved).?

It angered her a little that she still considered Silas to be her ¡®true love¡¯ even after what he'd done. But her present circumstances provided a welcome distraction as she had no love for the Nine and would enjoy bringing them down. But if they were manipulating her¡.these witches would suffer a much worse fate. ¡°And who might this link be?¡± She had her suspicions.

Talk of these¡¡¯vampiric powers¡¯ left her with a bad taste in her mouth as she'd learned enough about them from those who found themselves trapped on the ¡®Other Side¡¯ with her. ¡°As I understand it the¡Nine as they call themselves are a rather arrogant group who believes their word is law.¡± She looked briefly to the blonde who nodded in silent confirmation of that fact.

Her focus returned to the woman who introduced herself as Fedora, one eyebrow rose at the use of the word ¡®descendant¡¯. She supposed it was possible the woman could be. Her family had continued in spite of her never having children of her own. Perhaps she would have had it not been for Silas¡¯ betrayal and The Travelers killing her. ¡°What is it that I am to learn?¡±

Re: The Witch is Back (Qetsiyah/Fedora/etc)

Their superiors had been certain this one was Fedora's ancestor, seemed to believed it was where she'd derived her abilities from in part, so the red head found herself scanning the newly returned's face for a resemblance. It helped take her mind off the picture and the upset, if such could be termed in such a small word, it had caused her.
?
?
"There is another link provided to you. A being like you given new life, but from which you can draw power and strength if you need it. It is part, the most important part, of how your return was arranged. So long as she lives, you do."
?
Fedora smiled.
?
"And this will all go more smoothly without some vampiric powers in play who may not appreciate either of you as much."
?
She gave a slightly amused small smile, and shrugged eloquently.
?
"Welcome back,Qetsyah. I am Fedora. Some who would know call me your descendant. Much time has passed, and you have much to learn."
I'm friends with the monster that's under my bed.
I get along with the voices inside of my head.

The Witch is Back (Qetsiyah/Fedora/etc)

The sounds of chanting filled the air as she stood facing her betrayer, a hint of enjoyment flickered in her eyes at the fear and uncertainty she had witnessed on the former handmaiden¡¯s face. It gave her a small sense of pleasure to leave her inquiries unanswered. Her head turned slightly as she felt a wind stir within these four walls¡it seemed to be urging her towards the anchor and at first she resisted but its force only increased until she was swept towards her.

When she first opened her eyes there was considerable confusion as the continued chants reached her ears then slowly faded in favor of murmured words among those circled around her. Who were these people? Where had Amara gone? These questions and more threatened to come rushing forth when a sudden realization stopped them from passing her lips. She was¡alive again. But why? It didn't take much to reach the conclusion they were witches.

¡°²Ï±ð³Ù²õ¾±²â²¹³ó?¡±

The witch rose to her feet instantly turning to face the blonde who uttered her name, a look of distrust etched on her features as she glanced from her face to the folded garments she held in her hands.

Seeing the woman's distrust she carefully placed the garments on the floor a few feet away then took several steps back so as not to provoke her. ¡°We have need of your help.¡± Amelia informed while collecting her thoughts. She felt certain the events of the past had left this woman with considerable trust issues and needed to precede with caution.?

Qetsiyah regarded the woman with one eyebrow lifted already suspecting her new chance at life would be expertly used as leverage to encourage her to be helpful. ¡°With what?¡± Slowly folding her arms across her chest as she fixed the woman with a level gaze.?

¡°We have something of a vampire problem that we are looking to rectify.¡± Amelia cast a glancing look around at the others of her coven before turning her focus back to the woman they had only moments before pulled back from the Other Side. ¡°I am sure that you have witnessed the utter arrogance of the Nine and it is them that we seek to¡teach a lesson.¡±

¡°Oh?¡± Qetsiyah was intrigued by this turn of events as she had no particular love for vampires of any kind but she'd seen enough to know the ones the blonde spoke of thought themselves to be superior beings whose laws were to govern the supernatural world when the reality was far different. It might be interesting¡seeing them brought low.

¡°We have been working on a spell to that effect.¡±

Locked Re: In the Grey (Fedora)

Captain Dance was not one to take orders and he smiled at the very presumption. Even Keres only suggested a course of action, which he usually accepted. But Fedora was both special to his heart, as well as to the organization at large. Besides, she had a unique perspective that never ceased to entertain him, not even now.
?
Part of him sought to wonder at the strong response to a portrait, while another part made him grimly smile. He could not help but take an interest at the?image of a man who could disturb his?second in command thusly. "Indeed, dangerous to us," Dance softly?questioned, marveling at Fedora's reaction. She had been more composed when they have encountered a Yaksha back at Ceylon, or facing an entire squad of British government employees.
?
She must have sensed something, although his, often advanced senses, could betray no hint of the threat. Resolving not to?discount Fedora's instinct but exploring it, while forcing his burgeoning jealousy down, Dance placidly agreed. "I shall get rid of it once and for all, at any rate."?
?
As Fedora left, Captain Dance detected a small movement at the wall. He could only see a furry tail, but even it would be hidden behind the veil from ordinary mortals. Likely one of those animal spirits answering to Enyo or Keres. The fact that they took interest in that endeavor, well, it was striking?on its own. Not disconcerting, considering that both of them were subject to review in the past, but striking none the less.
?
Captain Dance opened a small calyx, with the eyes of a seer, and activated them. There was some special residue the eyes recorded for his perusal, but the level of threat was minimal. Likely due to dissipation of energy between the past and the present. Dance admitted to becoming more curious.
?
If he had more time, he might have pursued the matter further. But now he had to make sure that Henry Hyde would do the right thing, and use his bestiality to open the most alluring of all gates. Captain Dance had his individuality, his unique interests that at times diverged from those of Fedora or Keres, but there was one reason he never lost his place as the senior regional agent of his organization. There was nothing more important to him than freeing Lord Trash.
?
Sighing with but mild disappointment, Dance smiled charmingly at the Ceylonian monster he had intended to feed. The worst of dangers, after all, could be removed with some hungry fire. When the eager mouth in the fire place began feasting on the fragments of the metal frame Fedora had left behind, Dance knew his promise to Fedora?would be fulfilled very shortly, removing a distraction all the more dangerous, because it began fascinating him as much as it had his closest companion.
?
"Perhaps it would be best to avoid the man himself," Dance suddenly spoke, not minding the absence of higher faculties?that would be capable of understanding him.
?

Locked In the Grey (Fedora)

The metal frame snapped in her hand as the portrait it held fell to the floor. Never had anyone caused Fedora to behave in such a way. Letting out a breath she felt silently grateful that the picture falling allowed the man's face to slide from view. Her eyes were free of him if the constriction in her chest where her soul should be was not.
?
?
"Get rid of it," she told Dance, tone more pleading than demanding, which she strongly disliked. They had been sent the portrait and the commands by a higher up, and though she understood the necessity she hadn't expected...this whatever THIS was.
?
?
He was strong and beautiful and unlike anything she'd ever seen before and looking at him had torn her soul out if she'd ever had one.
"He is dangerous. Let us hope we can always avoid him," she told Dance, speaking even as she turned away and headed for the door.
?
"I will go and make contact with the woman as we were ordered to do. I think she shall need a friend and you...do not need to be that friend.?A woman will be better and you're all mine."
?
?
She would've kissed him, but after the sight of the one in the photograph had somehow shattered her inside, she just couldn't face anyone, preferably not even herself.
?
She went out the door without another word.

Re: The Birth Of Katherine Pierce

"Are you allright," Mina asked, suddenly concerned with the way Katherine was holding onto the wall.
?
"Did helping....me...saving my life take too much out of you? Is there anything I can o to help?"
?
She didn't seem at all herself. Even as she spoke, Mina could swear she felt eyes on her. Oddly comforting eyes, though the concept gave her a flash of anger as well. Why had he done this to her? She shook her head, dark hair spilling over her shoulders with the motion. She even shook her head harder as a vampire, so much more...with everything.
?
Had this vampirism made her insane? She kept her mind focused by staring at Katherine.
?
He'd received the letter but hadn't believed a word of it. So the new plan was in action. With her having turned Mina he would always eventually have a link to her and to the man to whom she was bound that would die a slow painful centuries long death before he was done.

Re: The Birth Of Katherine Pierce

The woman's voice was becoming little more than your basic background noise as she fought tooth and nail just to regain control over her own body. It had been this way ever since that warm autumn night not so terribly long after she'd escaped from a burning Fell¡¯s church. She remembered being approached by an older gentleman who she thought to make a quick meal of then his fingers were resting lightly on her temples as he spoke in her native tongue.

It was the last instance when her thoughts and actions were entirely her own. Katherine Pierce would NOT go out like this. She refused to allow the ghost of someone's wife to take over her life. There were all too brief times when she'd been able to exert some control¡the use of her own name and a little bit of her own history but those damned Travelers who were responsible for her relocation to an old castle located in the Carpathian mountains remained close at hand so they could ¡®put the genie back in the bottle¡¯ so to speak.

Bringing one hand up to rest on the wall of a nearby building to steady herself giving the appearance of someone not at all well. Mentally cursing the woman known as Elisabeta Dracul whose spirit had for the past thirty years and some change been a passenger inside her body. If that weren't bad enough she'd also rubbed salt in the wound by adapting the name Katerina as her own.?

It was part of the seemingly never ending chess game between the two of them. Each time she thought she'd gotten the upper hand it got turned around as for example the first time she'd introduced herself as Katerina only to have her birth name become but one of Elisabeta¡¯s aliases.

Over time she'd begun to piece together the reasons for this new, albeit unsettling, existence of hers. It all started with a grieving husband who for centuries played the role of his much more infamous brother to appease a group of vampires who called themselves ¡®The Nine¡¯. To what end she didn't know but somewhere along the way there'd been that proverbial ¡®straw that broke the camel¡¯s back¡¯ and Vlad as we was called turned against them.?

But as powerful as he was this was not something they could abide as it threatened their very existence. Enter a woman who bore a passing resemblance to his deceased wife¡Katerina Petrova or as she was then calling herself Katherine Pierce and the meddlesome Travelers who facilitated his reunion with his beloved Elisabeta under the terms that he remain loyal to ¡®The Nine¡¯.?

There was obviously more to this tale than she'd uncovered thus far given the emotional responses had by his wife's spirit when looking at their eldest daughter who as far as she'd seen displayed none of the powers their other children shared. Had this Nadia been another of their victims? If so, why? She couldn't recall seeing a portrait hanging in the halls of that castle with her likeness.

Her mind seemingly going in a million directions at once as she struggled to maintain the small measure of control she'd gotten. Feeling all too much like if she stopped focusing on working the puzzle or the little details that helped make up who she was that she'd be locked away again. Coffins? Why coffins? She did so hate being forced to sleep inside one as if it were at all necessary just because his wife had in life possessed a need to and clung to the habit even now.?

It could be about keeping up appearances but if anyone who had known the woman gave her more than a passing glance it was fairly obvious it wasn't the same woman at all.

Kill¡kill¡no she didn't think that were the case. Maybe¡.but no it couldn't be the one she'd sent word to on her last little ¡®outing¡¯. Could it? She'd been trying for so long to get someone¡anyone to help her reclaim her life. If only her last act hadn't been to fake her own death¡the Salvatore brothers might have been an option but to attempt reaching out to someone from her old life might undo all she'd done to convince Klaus she'd died.

¡°What?¡± She questioned somewhat belatedly as it occurred to her that questions were asked. Did she really need the problems that came with having a newly turned vampire looking to her as their teacher? This would all be a lot less complicated if she'd allowed Mina to bleed out, however, a sudden impulse or having taken a liking to the woman had resulted in her current predicament.?

Trigger? Perhaps. It was possible if this had anything to do with a letter she'd persuaded a witch to send through means that couldn't be intercepted by her ¡®husband¡¯ or ¡®their children¡¯ to one who might have reason to give her aide considering his own life was stolen centuries ago¡that it could have been strategic but her odds of being located by a Traveler were far better.

¡°We¡¯re predators. It's kind of what we do.¡± She responded a little bluntly, her current mood having to do with the amount of effort it took to remain in control. Was it annoyance? Perhaps. It was always harder dealing with those who failed to grasp one simple concept¡ ¡®Better you die than I¡¯ the words she'd spoken the night she was turned echoing inside her head.

¡°It's possible to feed without killing¡to leave them without any memory of the incident at all.¡± It was certainly more fun the other way but with the knowledge of not one but two vampire hunters currently residing in London leaving a trail of bodies would be most unwise.

Re: The Birth Of Katherine Pierce

"But did he want me dead? I mean if he didn't want me dead, for whatever reason, how dangerous can it be," Mina wondered aloud.
?
She knew how silly that sounded, but there were so many questions. Why had he done this to her? Once again she couldn't help admitting at least to her self how personal it felt. Unexplainabley so for how could it be? Knowing there was no logic to the thought she kept it to herself this time ,having already stating it earlier to her new friend and now apparently her savior.
?
?
?
"Or if he was trying to kill you could his aim truly be that bad?"
?
She didn't believe this even as the words left her mouth though that would be the more logical explanation. A fool would only attack Katherine's family. she'd just said so. So this one could be a crazed fool with bad aim.
?
?
?
"I don't want to kill people," Mina said quickly when talk of feeding came up. The idea made her very uncomfortable but she knew it was necessary too and only hoped she would grow more comfortable as it actually happened. As Katherine prepared though she only grew more? and more anxious. She remained silent, though, not being one to complain as it never made anything better and in fact made things worse. Silently she followed, looked and listened, while trying not to notice how odd her body felt, how much more stark everything around her. Hopefully she would grow accustom to that too.

Re: The Birth Of Katherine Pierce

Katherine inclined her head as thoughts of the much deserved reckoning the attacker was now due. This slight couldn't go unanswered not when one was the wife of Vlad the Impaler. At this her gaze dropped to her wedding ring with anger briefly giving way to sadness as she thought of another conversation that needed to happen at some point.?

If she'd thought reaching out to her husband through the bond they shared would work she would have done so. But with how closed off he¡¯d been as of late and her own fears of discovering some truth to her suspicions about his relationship with Teja¡¯ari it was an option best left unexplored.

¡°With our kind..¡± The vampire queen began while pausing to give it some thought as she felt of great importance to make her friend understand the dangers involved in taking on someone older. ¡°it is different than it is for humans. We don't grow weaker with age (quite the opposite) so if not done smartly it is suicide.¡±

There were, of course, natural benefits that went along with being of Vlad's bloodline but she didn't wish to make Mina overly confident and therefore reckless. ¡°So, perhaps we pursue the more subtle of the two.¡± Honestly she was opposed to the idea of involving someone so newly turned but in this instance the woman was just as entitled to vengeance.

¡°You will find that most have enough common sense to know better than to risk the wrath of my family.¡± It was something that had taken some getting used to in the beginning as her life had been quite different before marrying Vlad. Being his wife was enough reason in the eyes of most to fear her.

One eyebrow rose slightly as she considered the question posed. ¡°Our first order of business is teaching you to feed as control is important. There are those who know the signs when looking at our victims whether living or dead and will hunt us purely because of what we are.¡±

With that word of caution offered she set about making all the necessary arrangements before taking Mina out to a place where there would be just enough people out and about for her to be able to feed without prying eyes. She was doing all she could to ensure things went smoothly on their little outing.

(ooc: I didn't realize how long it¡¯d been since I posted here until I looked up posts so apologies for that. Trying to get back into more of habit of staying more on top of things. Added a bit of jump ahead since it¡¯d been so long. Hopefully that's okay, if not let me know.)

Re: Strange Happenings (Natari/Van Helsing)

The?Dr. shrugged, not too many, but I am certain that the library does, he stated, giving a warm chuckle. ?He raised an eyebrow when she spoke of the difference in taste of blood, wondering if she were teasing him, or being completely truthful. So you notice a difference in taste, then, his curiosity was increased.
?
Well, he began when she said that they had had no knowledge of blood types, I am certain we don¡¯t have nearly the knowledge as people will have centuries from now, but there is certainly more than a century ago, that is the thing about science, you know; it is always growing, always changing, just as our world around us does.

God loves you.

Re: Strange Happenings (Natari/Van Helsing)

That's interesting," Natari said thoughtfully. "In my day we had no knowledge of these...types of blood. It does make it taste differently, though," she added, unable to suppress a wicked chuckle. She was teasing a little though it was true.

?

"You have books of research on vampires," she wasn't sure why she was surprised. He had learned a lot and had it all been from experience he would not be alive.

?

"It shall be interesting to see how it ends up, but I warn you, they aren't normal and I am not sure you can trust them. What if they kill you after you have done what they want?"

?

Why did she warn him, she wondered. Because she didn't want them getting whatever they'd get from killing the doctor/slayer. They had enough strange unknown abilities.

Re: Strange Happenings (Natari/Van Helsing)

Oc, sorry, got in a bit of a hurry and ended up hitting the send button too soon. I wasn¡¯t quite finished, so here is the second part of that post.
?
Ic. I can do the book studying while I wait for the first subjects to be provided, I suppose. He nodded to her statement of vampires being like people. I know, at least, I know it now. I didn¡¯t at first, and that was a major flaw of mine. ?and, although it pains my heart deeply to say it, there are, regrettably some humans, who really do not deserve to live, at least by most people standards. Then again, it¡¯s really not either one¡¯s place to judge, is it? It is not my place to judge whether vampires are worthy to live, and the place of judging humans only goes to one higher than any of us. He sent a fond look upward. ?perhaps it is he, who will be judge of your kind as well, I only know this, from henceforth, it will not, be me. He said the last sentence with emphasis, As if pronouncing a death sentence on his own now considered sin of vampire hunting and killing.?

God loves you.

Re: Strange Happenings (Natari/Van Helsing)

Helsing Knotted when Natari suggested that he take samples and perform his experiments on the blood of the vampires provided by Klaus. That is my plan, but of course I want to do some book research first, to see what all has already been discovered on the subject, if anything. ?I expect to find profound differences in blood typing, o, AB positive, and so forth, and I also expect to find a difference in the actual composition of the blood, the proteins, cellular structure, plasma and so forth.??God loves you.

Re: Strange Happenings (Natari/Van Helsing)

Natari was relieved that he hadn't asked her for blood, for she could not give it to him. Not for something she disapproved of. That in the wrong hands could be misused.
?
"You should take samples from those this Klaus provides to you to fix, certainly," she said.
?
?
When he spoke of his dream she averted her gaze. Hadn't she planned to toy with and then kill him? What a coup that would be socially. Bragging rights for sure and now it felt wrong. She bit back a sigh.
?
"Vampires are like people, Dr. Van Helsing. Some decent, some can go either way depending on their situation and temptations and some flat out bad. I am sure some that you killed deserved it." Hopefully, she thought. She'd certainly met enough bad ones. Nearly animalistic ones, but could not the same be said of humans, and was he killing them? No but she was. Other vampires were.
I'm friends with the monster that's under my bed.
I get along with the voices inside of my head.

Re: Strange Happenings (Natari/Van Helsing)

Helsing gave a?warm chuckle as he slowly nodded. Thank you, mostly it is just trying to live a clean life, getting plenty of exercise, rest and nutrition. But yes, I do invibe?in the life expansion potion now and again, when I feel like age is quickly creeping up to catch up with me. He chuckled again at his using opposite words.
?
He shook his head along with his reply when she asked if he had studied the components of vampire blood. I have yet to study actual vampire blood, he admitted, I want to see what research has been already done first. Of course the time will have to come eventually when I will need samples from someone, maybe several someones if possible, in order to actually??study the differences in vampire and human blood. And yes you are right, that will go along way toward finding a way to bring those of your kind who desire it, back to being human again.
?
?
He now looked quite ashamed of what he had done in the past to her kind. He wouldn¡¯t think of doing that to her, or any of the others he had met earlier, but when he was actually killing them, all vampires had seemed so, evil and devilish to him. At the time, he had thought he was doing the right thing, protecting the world from evil, now, he wondered if he hadn¡¯t actually been part of the evil, however unwittingly it may have been.
?
Do you know? The last time I slept, which I suppose was last night, though?it only seems like a few moments, anyway, when I last ?slept, I had a dream that you¡, Were the?vampire huntress. ??
you and Klaus were?human, and you were hunting me. I woke up just before one of you was about to drive the steak into my heart. I could see the gleaming ??cross that you were wearing, but I know you would not actually do those things. I am not sure what the dream was trying to tell me, if it was trying to tell me anything at all. It just, made me a bit uneasy, that¡¯s all.
?
?
Now he felt silly, and vulnerable; why had he just opened up to her that way? Was he starting?to trust her that much? And why? Could it be that he was actually thinking of her as a true friend. All he knew was that he felt very comfortable with her, like he could relax, and open up. He had not felt that way around the others, there had been compassion, but always the knowledge that he was helping them, but with Natari, It was different; he felt as if they would be helping each other somehow, as if they might be partners of a sort, but he did not yet voice this to her. He felt that she trusted him, but was very concerned for him about what her own kind might try to do to him.???
God loves you.

Re: Strange Happenings (Natari/Van Helsing)

So you take the lifespan potion then," Natari asked curiously.
?
"You seem rather spry for a gentleman of your years and to be aware of how to kill...well beings that you wish to kill."
?
She knew of vampires, everyone did. He found where they slept, beheaded and staked them. But did he know how to kill others like werewolves, witches, whatever else existed that even she was unaware of?
?
"Have you studied vampire blood then and its components? That would likely be necessary for any sort of reversal working with that potion," she speculated.
I'm friends with the monster that's under my bed.

Re: Strange Happenings (Natari/Van Helsing)

Helsing gave Natari A considering look. That is an excellent point, some sort of protective, preservation potion would have to be combined with the reversal potion. I¡¯m not even sure that could work, but it is worth a try I would think.

As he quickly jotted down notes, he continued speaking, there is what is called A,, life span enhancement potion, it doesn¡¯t lengthen the years of one¡¯s life, as much as it protects one from dying prematurely. All of this is within reason, of course; if you drink the lifespan enhancement potion and then, go and throw yourself off of a building, naturally, the potion won¡¯t have nearly as much affect, in other words, you will die a very normal death. But under reasonable circumstances, the potion is to protect against premature death, and help to enhance the life that a person has, by helping them to be more healthy. It might be that, a combination of this, and the reversal potion, if indeed there are actual ingredients for fashioning such, would serve to protect the human from dying at once.

God loves you.

Re: Strange Happenings (Natari/Van Helsing)

"But would a reversal process not reverse all,"Natari asked, curious. "As in, I? became a vampire in the seventeen hundreds. So were someone being reversed older than I even would they not die at once from being ancient?" The idea was at once intriguing and horrifying and she found herself wondering what Oliver would think. Though she would never do so herself she wondered how the process would come out.
