Re: Revelations (Klaus/Amara/Valerie/Van Helsing)
Van Helsing's eyes also were riveted on Amara when she spoke of a cure. ? "I need to know anything that you or anyone else can remember, any thing, even ideas, that you might have about ingredients for a cure." ?He was also looking hopeful, and he looked at Klaus with genuine surprise when he spoke of bringing another vampire on which he could experiment. ? "if possible, try to make certain that the subject is one who is in discriminate in his killing and feeding habits," the ?doctor advised, looking at Valerie and Klaus, he added, "I would not wish to perform my experiments on ones such as yourselves, which I have seen to have considerable good qualities. ?For your sake's, I will treat them with reasonable kindness, as long as they are cooperative, and do not harm me or anyone associated with me."??

Re: Revelations (Klaus/Amara/Valerie/Van Helsing)
When Amara spoke of her blood being used for a cure Klaus's eyes shot wide.
?
"So there was a cure? It was made with magic or..."
?
He hesitated. Would this woman even know the word science? No. "Or...alchemy?"
?
Did such a word exist even if the practice did? Hopefully she would understand the mental concept behind the word. He could only hope so for if it required magic, they were in for a hold up...He'd have to find a good witch and hope he could talk the good doctor into combining forces as it were.
?
?
?
Still with his gaze riveted to Amara Klaus asked her,"Do you remember anything else she used in?this cure?"
?
It was impossible to keep the eager hope from his voice.
?
When Doctor Van Helsing asked if a vampire could not use such a method to feed, Klaus shrugged doubtfully.
?
"Perhaps...Soon I shall bring an unworthy for you to practice on. I shall keep them immobilized and safe for you if you can house them here...Someone to experiment on will be necessary, after all. And as you do not consider us worthy creatures of god, this should be amenable to you, yes?"

Re: Revelations (Klaus/Amara/Valerie/Van Helsing)
Van Helsing had been awaiting Klaus's answer concerning how he was different from most other vampires, when Amara mentioned the fact that her blood had been used in making the cure for her. ?The doctor turned to regard her with definite interest, "really? Do you know in what measurements? It is entirely possible that it moderately increased quantity of your blood, or of some other ingredient, could make the transformation complete." ?He pointed to a shelf in one corner of the room, "now, here¡ Are some of the needles I use, plus¡ Blood substitution potion; this is to mimic the action and flow of real blood, until the blood can be excepted by the body as such, and begin to circulate properly." ?He wondered it to himself if his newly formulated potion could actually prove to be a substitute for vampires. ?"it is filled with the same nutrients," Van Helsing continued, "I wonder if some vampires could not use this to circumvent the necessity of having to drink actual blood? I shall have to look into it." ?He looked at Valerie end Klaus, wondering if either of them would volunteer for the experiment. ?Turning to Amara, with a slight twinkle in his eye, he stated, "in the meantime, I have yet to find, or invent a potion as a substitution for a cup of hot tea, would you¡ Care for a cup at the present time?" ?He offered an apologetic look to the others, for as far as he knew, they could drink nothing but blood.

Re: Revelations (Klaus/Amara/Valerie/Van Helsing)
Amara was curious as to why this woman's name was unfamiliar as there were at least whispers about the man who stood before them. It was a troubling thought as there was little question ?as to whether this¡¡¯Rayna Cruz¡¯ had killed vampires based on the way Valerie had spoken of her.?
?
Her brown eyes darted towards the other woman as she contemplated asking where the spirits of her victims had gone. It was a matter of some concern though mostly curiosity as she welcomed not experiencing the pain of any more deaths than was absolutely necessary.
?
She held her tongue in spite of a desire to ask a seemingly endless stream of questions as Valerie seemed preoccupied with the scrolls. Turning the former handmaiden looked between the two men attempting to follow their conversation about blood transfusions.
?

Re: Late Night Lab Work (Victor/Elizabeth)
Victor gave a warm chuckle, "you sound just as lovely, and eager to learn as you ever were," he reassured her. ?He nodded when she asked him to show her what she should wear; "well I brought some of your dresses here, to prepare for this momentous occasion." He first produced a dress of dark green and white, "you always loved this one, as I recall, and here¡ This one is your pink and blue one, I also have a red and white one here for you, and a red and green. If you don't wish to stand out at all, this dark brown one will do well enough, it is your choice, which would you like?" ?His face gleamed with joy and admiration when she spoke of being eager for knowledge, "I think¡ That is one of the many reasons why you and I always got along so well together, you appreciate life in its totality, you love life, you always have, and I believe you always will. ?And not to worry," he continued, "all of your knowledge will return to you in time I'm certain, and I will be more than glad to help you along with that." ?He watched her as he handed her the dresses, watching to see if she needed help, or if she would remember how to dress herself. ?"remember, I am right here should you need anything at all." ?He did not watch her with complete clinical interest, nor did he watch her with the hungry eyes of a man who was visually turned on, and wanted his wife, instead, he watched her with eyes of love, kindness and understanding, which completely belied the turmoil within his mind, and the ghost which asked¡ Why not me, father?

Re: Home At Last (Rena/Henry/Pool/etc)
Pool was soon fast asleep, but Mary was much slower in falling asleep, and when she finally did, her sleep was fitful to say the least. ?It was barely dawn when she awoke, muttering under her breath something undetectable about having to find clothes for the new mistress; she made her way quietly down the hall, to a room where various dresses and other articles of clothing were kept. ?She found an elegant looking black silk dress, trimmed in white lace around the him, and around the neck line; this should do well enough, she murmured to herself, taking the dress and putting it aside. ?She also found an evening dress of various shades of blue, studded in various stones, diamonds, sapphires and rubies. ?She also found several pairs of under hose which had not been worn, and another dress, also silk, this one being maroon, black and white. ?There was also a dress of dark pink and light blue, several dresses with flowers on them, all silk, with ruffles and lace on them of different colors. ?She was diligent in making certain that the dresses were elegant, yet lightweight, so that Reena could easily move about in them. ?She also chose four different pairs of shoes, all in either black, or black and white patent leather, and one with diamonds on the toes; two of the pairs of shoes were high heels, the other two were medium heels. ?She carefully ?carried this bundle of clothing back to her own room, laying them all out, making certain that they were no wrinkles. When the doctor and mistress rang for the servants, Mary would carry the clothes to lady Rena, and allow her to examine them, and either approve or disapprove, however she chose. ?There, that is done, she said aloud to the empty room, giving a weary, but triumphant sigh, ? feeling satisfied within herself that she had, at least for the moment, outsmarted the mistress, and perhaps won a few more hours sleep for herself; Pool won't be the only one sleeping late, she murmured with only the air to hear her.???

Re: Home At Last (Rena/Henry/Pool/etc)
Guilty pleasures. How true he spoke, for Henry did feel guilty or that at least he should feel guilty. Rena understood that well and gave him an understanding smile as she lightly touched his cheek.
?
"At least when it is only you and I, my love, you need never feel guilty. It is only about pleasure."
?
And she proceeded to indulge with him in just that, and she didn't speak again until they were at last eating the food over an hour later.
?
"I am glad I handled the servants well. It is easy to like Pool as he so obviously cares for you," she told him sincerely.
?
"I logically understand the politics at play in the Victorian household...The master is technically in full control yet the servants can talk and things are spread if disapproving servants do so. One's reputation can be ruined. So therefore in this, the powerless have power. IF not to benefit themselves, to destroy their betters."
?
She sighed.
?
"A lamentable thing indeed but in most cases something to be worked around either by properly employing fear or profit to one's servants."
?
She smiled, then chuckled. It was fun actually giving her mind a work out ass it were. She had always been aware of her enhanced intelligence, obviously inherited from her grandfather, but rarely did she truly need to use it. Just like her Uncle Felix, things were usual simple in her life so there was no need. Now, though it was effortless, these mental navigation's. Like when she'd first learned to skate as a child.
?
"At home we are above such things. We are rich enough to live above society. We pay servants to leave so that they can not see our lives and thus they have nothing to report to anyone," she told him honestly.
?
"But I am a fast learner as you can see so we shall manage."
?
She winked mischievously at him.
?
Biting into an apple she chewed then asked,"So are we going after the old guy tomorrow night? Because I'm down...that means, ready and willing," she hastily clarified with a small smile.
?
At least some things she could pass off as simply being American slang if she slipped up with modern usages.
?
?
"I am a lady of education, but I was raised largely by my uncles when my parents were working in the lab so I learned physical combat among other things," she clarified, assuming such would be needed.

Re: Home At Last (Rena/Henry/Pool/etc)
Henry?happily smiled at Rena's words. He could easily appreciate the female wiles that said so much while seemingly saying so little. In a sense, she has even been nicer to Poole than she could have under the circumstances. Since all the servants in the house essentially were his to maintain. Yet it was wise, to extend more courtesy than required, in his opinion,?and through it exert ever more dominion. It was all about politics and intrigues in any household, a subtle balance that required so much attention and Rena, luckily, performed so effortlessly.
?
"It is a strange give and take. You, and myself, naturally, are deemed to be at the very top, unless of course lack of propriety on our part, or rather lack of fulfilled expectations on the part of the servants, convinces the servants that something untoward is happening. This is not a usual situation to be sure, it did introduce a moment of uncertainty into their heart, and dare I say, they are not unique in their opinions. Other servants in their place would likewise expect something...worthier of us, I suppose.
?
In the mean time, I must congratulate you on handling such a delicate situation well. As we are, by all appearances, in the wrong, we shall have to continue and contend with the?problem, and I trust you will be equally patient with my old butler at least. Well done indeed, but as you said, time to think of more pleasant matters which constitute our guilty pleasures..." Henry suggested with a salacious smile he had no intention of mitigating into anything more appropriate. ? |

Re: Home At Last (Rena/Henry/Pool/etc)
Pool thought he heard Mary's soft sobs coming from her room, he started to go back, knock on her door, and see what the trouble was. Then, he quickly decided against it, it was something she and Rena would have to work out, and something that she herself¡ Would have to work out in her own mind and heart, he reminded himself. ?I am not her father, and she¡ Is not a child, he mentally reminded himself as he slipped out of his servants uniform, and into his night clothes. 18, he thought to himself, much younger than I, but still¡ What is a fellow to do? ?She will never, ever have a chance with that doctor, but there's no telling her that, he thought to himself; why, he might not be quite old enough to be her grandsire, but, he is much too old and, much above her in class, wealth, and the like, oh when will she realize¡ It would never work. ?He at last climbed into bed, his nerves frazzled, yet feeling that odd sense of satisfaction that can accompany such, another day's work done, he gave a sigh, and soon was fast asleep.??

OOC, LOL at 50 not quite old enough to be her grandfather, though Rena's parents would agree as Rena is about as young. LOL.

?
Rena gave a sigh of relief when the door closed behind the servants, then gave Henry an amused smile before she chuckled.
?
? "My parents seem to agree with Pool. They feel responsible for what they see as my short comings. Simply because I wish to be with you, I have apparently goone wild and they wonder if I hate them and where they have gone wrong. They refuse to see it simply has nothing to do with them and everything to do with you."
?
She smiled widely, shaking her head in amusement.
?
"Well at least my grandma is supportive," she said with a sigh, before frowning.
?
"Though considering the day I have had I shall never let her hear the end of it about?that stupid dress. I"ll tell you all about it tomorrow when both of our heads are clear."
?
She approached him, glancing toward the food, then longingly at his exceedingly developed chest.
?
"I was ready for food, but I think I need more of you first...then we can eat."
?
She slipped her arms around him and smiled again.
?
"It's only sensible...Else we'll only want to eat again."

Re: Home At Last (Rena/Henry/Pool/etc)
Pool had returned lady Rena's smile with one of his own, a smile of equal sincerity; he had looked at Henry when Reena spoke in her ?tone of mock sympathy to Mary, not quite knowing what to think. ?He nodded in agreement when she stated that no one's shortcomings are the responsibility of another, true enough, I suppose, mistress, it's just¡ I tend to feel responsible somehow, which is I suppose a shortcoming of my own. ?When the entire discourse was done, he had dragged Mary out of the room, and had given her the lecture, with only the first few words of their argument able to be heard, as they moved farther and farther from the door of the master bedroom. ?She had tried to sound sincere when she had congratulated Rena, and nodded her agreement about her trying to make Henry happy, she had also dutifully nodded when the mistress spoke of the clothes being ready when they woke up. ?But now, alone in her room, she threw herself, facedown up on her bed, and cried into her pillow, now and then sobbing¡ I hate her, I hate her, I hate her every bit as much is I, love¡ Him. ?I care not if he is old enough to be my grandsire, I love him more than she could love him in 1 million years.

Re: Home At Last (Rena/Henry/Pool/etc)
Rena smiled at Pool, before her gaze turned to Henry, open love and adoration in her eyes when the butler spoke of how happy she made Henry. Let that stupid?slattern of a maid chew on that fact, she thought tartly. IT was true, after all and weren't those the best knives in the end for the most part
?
?
"I plan to always make Henry happy, for he is my true source of joy and pleasure in life," she told Pool softly, every word open and completely honest, far more than she was accustom to speaking aloud.
?
?
She dropped her gaze, a little embarrassed and glad to raise it to Mary when the girl spoke of the clothes.
?
"Of course you should only bring the clothes when we ring for you, but they had better be ready when we wake up. So were I you I would rise early in case you can not find that which I require here and need to go out. One never knows how busy the decent dress shops are and I do want a seamstress snagged for tomorrow evening before she is contracted to anyone else."
?
She smiled.
?
"It seems you shall have yourself a busy and early morning, dear Mary, but at least it shall afford you a rare opportunity to study truly luxurious dresses as you shall never have such for yourself," she concluded with mock sympathy of the sort she knew the men would not understand.
?
When Pool apologized for Mary she gave him? a shake of her head with a kind look, again which was honest.
?
"Truly, Dear Pool, Mary's short cocmings are no responsibility of yours." ?
Then again with mock kindness so that Mary would not appear, to anyone but Mary herself, of course, to be being singled out she hastily added,"That is, philosophically speaking no one's short comings are the fault of another and you have done your best, it is obvious."
She gave him a kind smile.
?
"Now be off to bed and a good night's rest the both of you and thank you again." ?

Re: Home At Last (Rena/Henry/Pool/etc)
Pool had taken out a small notepad, upon which he began writing Henry's food choices; he repeated some of the items, "yes, yes the bread with raisins, cheese, eggs, a cake of some sort, picnic items, yes that sounds quite doable. ?Sounds as if lunch¡ Will be in order tomorrow, as opposed to breakfast," he made his assessment before turning to acknowledge Renas gratitude. ?"you are indeed most welcome, Lady Rena," his tone and expression matched one another in sincerity. ?"Mary and I have served the doctor for quite a number of years, and it is so refreshing for both of us to see how happy he has become, now that you are here. ?Please allow me to assure you that you are a welcome addition to this household, most welcome." ?When Rena wished Pool A good night and told him to rest well, a slight frown touched Mary's lips as she threw a questioning ?glance at the mistress, a glance which seemed to mutely inquire, what about me? ?"A very pleasant night to you as well, mistress Rena, Dr. Henry, enjoy your food; we will trouble you know further until you ring for us¡ Whenever that maybe." ?He gave a deep bow to Rena, then to Dr. Henry, always being careful to speak to the one who offered whatever kindness or favor was being granted first, while not leaving out the other person of the couple. ?He gave Mary a stern look, hoping to remind her to bow as well; "what? Oh¡ Yes," this time, she remembered to bow to lady Rena first, but her bow was grudging, to say the least, she then turned, smiled and bowed deeply to the doctor, Then turned back to Reena and stated, "i'll bring those clothing articles to you tomorrow, after you have rung for us, as I do not wish to awaken you before you're ready to awaken." ?She had to admit to herself that, this was rather sneaky, but she hoped the mistress would agree to it, as it would give her¡ The opportunity to sleep in as well, while appearing on the surface as if she were truly concerned about not awakening them. ?Sensing the unspoken tension between the two women, Pool gave Mary a look of consternation, which silently said that she should be ashamed of herself. She responded to him with a questioning look. He stood there, blushing with shame on Mary's behalf, and would await responses from either of the couple before stating hurriedly, "my sincerest apologies to both of you, master and mistress, it appears¡ I may not have instructed her thoroughly enough, a very pleasant night indeed to the both of you, come along, Mary." ? The truth was that¡ He had¡ Instructed her quite thoroughly, but since he was far older than she was, he felt it was his responsibility to absorb any blame that might be otherwise cast upon her, feeling somehow responsible for her apparent lack of training and impulsive actions. ?"well really! ?This is quite, unnecessary," Mary protested, but Pool looped his arm around hers, and dragged her out with him. ?The couple would hear the fading argument, they would hear Mary demand, "what the Blazes are you doing!" ?"isn't that obvious," Pool retorted, his tone perturbed, "I am attempting to save you from further embarrassment and humiliation in the presence of Dr. Henry, and the lady Rena." ?"what does it matter? What do you care," Mary demanded, "you¡ Get the privilege of sleeping in tomorrow morning, while I¡ Have been set the annoying task of sorting and bringing clothing to the good lady," The last two words of her statement were blades of biting sarcasm. ?"I say indeed, Pool, I do believe she fancies you, at least to an extent, perhaps meaning to keep you waiting, just in case she and the doctor do not work out." ?The Butler's eyes widened with surprise, rubbish! ?Lady Rena extended the same kindness to you as she did to me."" ?"and then she took it away," mary's tone was petulant. Pool replied with that same patient tone, the one she had heard him use so much with her, the one which, while relieving her that she was not to be scolded, irritated her for making her feel like a child; "dear girl, she revoked her kindness toward you at this time, because you¡ Forgot one of the main points of etiquette." ?He ?motioned for her to sit ?on the couch, and she complied as he continued,"now Mary, you know full well, do you not? That when we are serving more than one person, and one of the persons extends a kindness to us, or pays us a complement, we must always¡ Without exception, acknowledge and show gratitude to the one who extended the kindness first. This means that, while you definitely odd not to have neglected the doctor, you ought to have shown your gratitude to lady Rena, first, furthermore," he continued, " I fear that you're open display of appreciation, yes and even affection toward the doctor¡ Is presenting a certain measure of discomfort to the lady Rena." ?"do you think she's jealous?" ?Mary's eyes widened with surprise, showing the certain amount of joy which she was taking in the whole ordeal. ?Pool actually gave her a sympathetic look, as if to say¡ Poor girl. ?"hardly, she has nothing of which to be jealous if you'll pardon my saying so." ?Mary's words were sharp daggers of emphasis, "I will not¡ Pardon you're saying so, what a dirty, unreasonable thing to say." ?She lowered her head into her hands, and began to cry. ?Pool gave a deep sigh of resignation, with only a thin veneer of sympathy and patients preventing him from completely exploding at Mary, he half commanded, half pleaded, "to bed with you, girl, to bed with you; the hour is late, we both need sleep, and I am certain that in the morning, after you are well rested, you will see the folly of your actions this night, and fully repent to the lady Rena concerning them." ?Before she could argue, he waved a dismissive hand toward her, he had walked with her to the door of her room, "good, night, Mary! May you rest well, and show a far better disposition tomorrow then you are at present!" ?After opening the door of her room for her, he decisively turned away toward his own room, showing that he had had more than his share of dealings with the young servant girl for the present evening. ? ? ?

Re: Late Night Lab Work (Victor/Elizabeth)
Victor smiled and nodded when Elizabeth said he made her sound perfect, you always were... Perfect to me, he replied, his smile widening at her delighted laughter. ?As I recall, he began, you were extremely patient, except for those times I had to be away from you so much, working in the lab. You didn't like that very much, but with other things¡ You were the picture of patients. ?It wasn't that you minded me doing scientific work, he continued, you just did not like how much I had to be away, and I intend to make that up to you. ?He looked somewhat hurt when she pulled away from his kiss on the ear, but the nodded with a chuckle when she said she needed a bath, oh it was just a minor little show of affection, not to worry, and yes I am certain that all of this will come back to you with time. ?He held the soft, pastel dress out to her, why don't you change into this right here, he suggested, and I will go call a handsome for us. Will¡ Will you need any help getting dressed, or do you remember? ?He was not trying to seduce her, he would help her to dress, if she required such assistance, that was all he intended to do, until she had had a bath, and ?time to become accustomed to things once more. ?He could not help wondering to himself why he had been so unkind with Frank, he had been afraid, he knew that much, perhaps it was because Frank had so much life within him, he could move, yet he could not communicate; but Elizabeth's return to the living world was proving to be much more orderly, much more the way he had expected it to be. ? Hmmm... perhaps, I ought to have started with merely returning someone to life, before actually trying to create it, he thought to himself, while he awaited her reply concerning whether or not she would need assistance getting dressed. ?All he knew was that he had to log the results, the outstanding event of her return in his journal, he had to capture this moment, he had to have it for now, for the future, so that he might always remember the day his Elizabeth came back to him.?

Rena smiled at Henry, moving back to his side now she was done with Mary and putting a possessive hand on his large arm. Nodding encouragingly as he spoke of the food he would want tomorrow to Pool she had to bite her lip so as not to chuckle. She had warned him that he would have an appetite and he had seen this to be true. They would surely have time for pleasures before summoning Pool to bring food tomorrow and yes he would be starved again. So many fools believed Jekyll and Hyde to be 2 men, but no.
?
?
Thank you again, Pool," she told the butler and smiled kindly.
"Rest well," she concluded, gaze moving to the door as Henry had finished with him. She did not address Mary further, trusting that Pool would take her out with him. She did not wish the maid a good night as Mary was below such as she now saw her. The lowest on the serving ladder. In a way, dealing with servants was uncomfortable, Rena was discovering.? It was far nicer they way Grandfather had it where the servants came and went when everyone was away. Of course these were entirely different times, she knew but still. ?
Soon Pool would be gone, though, and her mind moved to that, idly wondering if she and Henry would eat or if they would need one another again first. Gaze moving to him, she considered speculatively as her gaze wandered across his chest then slowly up to his face, others basically forgotten.

Re: Home At Last (Rena/Henry/Pool/etc)
Relieved at Mary's cooperation with Rena, Henry tiredly smiled at their exchange, sensing it could still go more than one way before all was said and done. Two women, in the same narrow space, antagonistic to each other, a cause for concern, he well knew. At least, despite his relative lack of experience,?he was wise enough to understand that this one time, any interference on his part to mitigate the tension could only make things worse. A more natural female ouch was needed here, perhaps somebody like the barmaid Leticia, a neutral party who understood female wiles far better than he did.
?
Making his expression more pleasant than he felt, Henry carefully motioned for Poole to be attentive and then reiterated Rena's request with an addition of his own. "Some fruit, a loaf of that spectacular smelling bread with raisins, a cake of some sort, and also some ingredients for a picnic. Eggs, cheese, slices of meat, a few healthy vegetables, you know the like," Henry suddenly decided on the spur of the moment, realizing that his current level of appetite could be far more demanding than ever before. |

Re: Revelations (Klaus/Amara/Valerie/Van Helsing)
" I wonder if you had a blood sample from a vampire if you could work on a formula...Mixing that vampiric blood with that of human blood...allowing them to learn to tolerate one another,"Klaus said thoughtfully, then gave an apologetic shrug.
?
?
"I am not, by nature a medical man, doctor. I am merely wondering how it could be possible to have both bloods, differing so as they do, able to tolerate one another. For right now, were you to transfuse me with human blood I would either reject it or my body would consider it a meal and nothing more. So it must see it instead as a catalyst for change...without killing me or whoever is rather in question."
?
?
He smiled at Amara, an idea suddenly occurring.
?
"Tell me, Amara. Do you think a bit of your blood would help the 2 mix as you are not precisely one of us as I understand it nor fully mortal either?"
?
He had only met Amara earlier tonight? as well, and at first had dismissed her as, interesting though unable to help his current situation. Now, however, with talk of transfusion...Well that made matters a bit different.
?
When Van Helsing asked how his type of? vampire differed from the other breeds other than lacking the misting ability, Klaus frowned thoughtfully.
?
?
"Well...Though we can also be killed by unlight, many of us have what we call daylight rings. These are also magical and protect us against the sun."
?
He couldn't help but smile, knowing that magic would bbe something a bit more difficult for this scientist to swallow. Of course the misting ability the other breed had seemed to be a form of magic to his mind, but he had no true way of knowing.
?
?
"Our kind of vampire," he added carefully, deciding to take a calculated risk, "Can be harmed...even killed eventually by the bite of a werewolf."

She frowned when Mary mentioned dresses around here' as she hoped the girl wouldn't dare give her servant's garb. Then again if there were some of Henry's mother's clothes left that she could wear and they were suitable she'd not mind she supposed. They may ve out of fashion, but she certainly?had worse problems at the moment.?She was glad the idea had occurred before she appeared the fool biting the girl's head off again. Certainly Mary would give her reason soon enough. Though she wanted clothes bought if there was indeed something suitable here, it would certainly draw less attention and that was a good thing. She merely nodded and smiled slightly.
?
Very good."

She left it to Henry to answer whatever else Pool had asked. So long as it wasn't about her needs she was glad to have him handle things. It was his home after all. Hers as well now for as long as she was here but still...Once again that thought sent racing panic through her entire body, the sensations causing her hear to flutter. How in the hell was she here? She only hoped Jekyll wasn't in the future frantic with fear and worry for her...Hopefully not. Hopefully whatever this was would be fixed, adjusted before anything like that happened. If she was put back in time, she could go forward at the right moment for no one to truly miss her, couldn't she? Of course she hadn't done this to herself, so she truly had no idea and that was also frightening. Burt she could not dwell on such as to be frightened was not at all her way.
