¡°Maker?¡± Amara asked looking a little confused at the word choice though her mind slowly began connecting the dots so to speak. Shaking her head once while attempting to determine the best way of explaining herself. ¡°I was the handmaiden of Qetsiyah?(a very powerful witch)?who was engaged to marry another who was considered her equal¡a man named Silas with whom I had fallen in love. He tricked her into making this potion meant to make the two of them immortal on their wedding day or so he¡¯d led her to believe. But on that day he stole it.¡±

She looked between them trying to keep her focus on what was?¡®°ù±ð²¹±ô¡¯, if anything was. ¡°We took it together that night. Somehow she found us and in her anger used me to create a cure. I thought for certain Qetsiyah meant to kill me but she said she had something else in mind. There was some sort of spell done then after¡I couldn¡¯t move and there was this hunger.¡± The former handmaiden drew a breath slowly exhaling after a couple seconds.
?
¡°It wasn¡¯t immediate but I began experiencing the pain of death though not my own and the voices coming from the darkness started. I thought it was all just my imagination but then when she¡Valerie gave me her blood and I could see them. I still don¡¯t know if any of its real. Maybe I have gone mad.¡± Her brown eyes rapidly darting back and forth. ¡°I don¡¯t know if one would call it awake. I don¡¯t pretend to understand what it was.

Valerie listened intently as the brunette spoke about her past, an origin story as it were, when it ended she finally spoke. ¡°I seem to recall hearing those names from members of the Gemini coven. It¡¯s rumored that Qetsiyah sealed Silas away with the cure inside a tomb in the hope he would someday consume it and find himself trapped on the?¡®Other Side¡¯?with her for all eternity. It was a place she created as a supernatural purgatory of sorts. But I don¡¯t know whatever became of either of them beyond that.¡±

She caught the look of horror in the handmaiden¡¯s eyes at hearing the fate of her former lover, offering a sympathetic look in return before turning her focus back to Klaus. ¡°Blood is certainly becoming a great necessity as I used a considerable amount of my own to revive her.¡±
