Re: Family Drama (Mircea/Nadia)

¡°I know that we have always been able to deal with threats in the past but this one¡whatever it is¡has Elisabeta more worked up than she normally gets.¡± Nadia learned years ago that her warnings weren't to be ignored as the old gypsy was rarely ever wrong about such threats. It was different than a concerned parent or sibling who might play things up to stress their point.

She wished there was something capable of putting her mind at ease but with circumstances being what they were she doubted there was anything that could. It was a fault of hers¡being overly concerned for her family more so than herself. But before she could answer her brother's question their conversation was rather abruptly interrupted by another of their kind.

Most knew better than to underestimate the women of her family as they were capable of being just as ruthless and vengeful as the men. One eyebrow lifted as the odd looking man addressed her directly all but ignoring Mircea. A move she was fairly certain was some sort of tactic on his part.

If not for being so preoccupied with sorting him out she would have thrown the black rose back in his face or at his feet when he spoke of her parents being ¡®gone¡¯. It rattled her a little after all of Elisabeta¡¯s warnings, not that her expression was any indication.

She focused all her resolve on not allowing herself to be baited into doing something reckless which could endanger either of them. Their father often stressed the importance of keeping one¡¯s anger in check. But to suggest that her brother would end her life or cause her any harm caused a flash of anger in her eyes.

There for a split second she considered asking what it is he thought he knew but then her brother's temper had gotten the better of him and quite honestly she loved him for it. Her concerns only deepened when she saw Mircea hit the ground, a thing that had her quickly looking back to the stranger.

It was difficult to suppress her first instinct as it was to check on her brother but to do so meant turning her back on the vampire. She could already hear the lecture a move like that would earn from their father, IF he ever shifted some of his focus back onto his family.?

Instantly tossing the rose on the ground at hearing his words of caution then moving to check on him rather than chasing after the one who¡¯d left her with a growing sense of unease. ¡°Are you alright?¡± The words passed her lips more out of a need to say something in that moment as she couldn't see anything wrong.

The strange incident bringing to mind something else that was already beginning to trouble her¡the fact she could no longer sense most of their siblings. Something wasn't right.

(ooc: felt like adding a little hint as to what the witches have been doing.)
