Henry Hyde had to admit, he was concerned about how the rest of his adventure would play out. Fortunately, despite seemingly oblivious to social conventions, much like himself, she managed to pull through. Her treatment of Poole was incredibly natural for the lady of the house and Hyde saw no reason to interfere thus far, only nodding his approval at the appropriate places, and entertaining a small smile when Lady Rena handled herself so surprisingly well. Over all he was pleased, even if drinking tea as proffered by Poole would have been less compromising, than accepting it from Rena herself.

But?Henry found?himself amused at her effort despite all of his inner protestations. "Well, you are doing it exquisitely well for your very first time," Henry complimented, mesmerized by Rena's motions, finding them both graceful and oddly gratifying.?

Gradually, all of his so?very rational?considerations drained away when Rena turned the conversation to her own cloths. "Yes, we certainly must. Remind me in the morning to send a fat letter to your grandmother. I shall introduce myself at first, then proceed to delineate all the ways in which I am thankful to her for your existence. Not to worry, I shall make a note of dedicating an entire paragraph to your cloths and how well I appreciate her choices of fashion on your behalf," Henry half jokingly reassured his, apparently, soon to be, fianc¨¦e. ?
