Locked Re: No Place Like London (Victor/Henry/Rena/Leti)

Victor looked a strange mixture of puzzled, and tired; perhaps this is all relative, he replied, hoping to adequately answer Rena's comment. I humbly ask your pardon, he stated, but the day has been long, the hour is late, and I fear that I am all the less of a conversationalist as a result. He wondered to himself what it could be about Rena that was attractive to him, yet frightened him so much. ?Why was it that he¡ Felt that she¡ Knew more about him than he wanted her to know? ?The thought was like a ghost, playing at the edges of his mind, haunting him without actually making an appearance. ?It was a monster which constantly stalked him, at least it could, if he did not drive it away somehow. ?At present, he chose to drive it away with much more pleasant thoughts of¡ Reddish brown hair, brownish green eyes, a woman charming in her own right. ?But to reveal his thoughts, this bud which could bloom into a full flower of interest, Might well make him seem little more than the common male, and even worse, it could make her think that he considered her merely a lady of the night, which of course, he did not. ?He reasoned that she would be all the less interested in him for showing his own interest at a time when he had exceeded his normal alcohol consumption. ?Would he still think her quite as charming in the morning? Tomorrow afternoon? While working in the lab? ? He decided it best to simply go home, and sleep this off, then when his mind was clear, he could decide on a definite plan of action.??? ? ?

God loves you.
