Re: SH: A House Of New Friends (Regina/Emma/Spike/etc)
?
"AN angel," Sarah groaned.
?
"It isn't fair! Why can't we ever work with demons?
Why? Or do anything fun what so ever? It's like my elder sister is back, I
swear! Except for the not working with demons bit. Just angels? They always hate
us witches!"
?
She snatched the book from Solomon and held it
protectively to her chest as if to shield it from the angelic
light.
?
"Sorry," she added to the angel
present.
"Just more? I mean it's like I am outnumbered or
something. Hardly seems fair."
?
She pouted.
?
David wasn't texting much either so he had no
concrete news of yet.
?
"If we're going out I want to have some
fun!"
?
She didn't see why people couldn't have fun and
still get things done or discover information. It hadn't been a problem back
before there were so many good people around!

"I'd be surprised if the horseman wasn't real. The
accounts seem too accurately reminiscent of a ghost that's a bit too strong for
our own good. Likely due to magic enhancement from mortals who rose it...him
later is my speculation. Easy enough likely as not due to the way he died.
Beheading even during war is never gentle."
?
David knew as much about fighting as he did magic
thanks to the mutual skills of both parents
?
?
"Dio you think it needs
investigating?"
?
Thoughts of people returning from the dead made him
think of his 2 aunts. They could literally stir up some trouble but their return
would not displease him. They were family.

Re: Town Square (David/Katrina/etc)
Katrina was quiet as he spoke of the things out to get his parents, not at all surprised those playing for the ¡®other team¡¯ would be inclined to target anyone who posed a real threat to their endgame. She had on occasion crossed paths with those who simply wanted her dead because she bore the Van Helsing family name. Their reputation tended to precede them more often than not. ¡°I suppose so.¡± ? She had a touch of sadness in her eyes at the memory of driving a wooden stake through her own mother¡¯s heart. There were times when it was suggested she see someone about that but how was therapy supposed to help when telling the whole unvarnished truth would cause anyone to reach the conclusion she should be committed or something. She really didn¡¯t relish the thought of electroshock therapy. ? From the corner of her eye she¡¯d seen Matt go inside the Mystic Grille with the town¡¯s newest mystery. At least if the woman was a threat she wouldn¡¯t do anything in there so she worried a little less. One hand moving to her back pocket as a pinging sound came from her phone, she brought the small device up so that she could read the screen then quickly responded to a text from Rayna. ? ¡°With people coming back from the dead in these parts I¡¯m almost afraid to ask what¡¯s happening in Sleepy Hollow.¡± She¡¯d heard a few stories about the place but mostly figured it was just people¡¯s imaginations running away from them because of the old story about a headless horseman.? ? ? ? ? ? ? |
Re: SH: A House Of New Friends (Regina/Emma/Spike/etc)
¡°Should we take a chance on reaching out to that angel you mentioned this morning? Castiel, was it?¡± Gabrielle didn¡¯t feel as comfortable around others as so often she was considered some sort of abomination that should be eliminated. Apparently heaven wasn¡¯t too fond of its angels reproducing, even the fallen ones.? Plus, there was also their dislike of Cambions which wouldn¡¯t be a problem except that her adoptive sister happened to be one.? ? Maybe it was too much of a risk to get another angel involved but if things got as bad as her mother seemed to think they would it might be a necessary one. She turned her head just as that creepy book went flying towards the witch. Now there was something she just never got used to.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ________ ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ¡°He could be of use but...¡± Serafina wasn¡¯t altogether convinced the angel would consider an alliance with a fallen archangel, her nephilim daughter, a cambion, and a witch. The others, perhaps, they were new to this world and, of course, there was Solomon to consider. She saw no reason aside from his marriage that he¡¯d have any issues with another of her kind. ? ? ? ? ? _________ ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ¡°You¡¯re worried about us?¡± Gabrielle knew the pressures her mother placed upon herself in situations such as this because she felt responsible for those who¡¯d chosen to side with them in this fight. The woman could really use a vacation. Even just a little ¡®me time¡¯ would do the trick. But she wouldn¡¯t take it, not now, not with so much starting to happen.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ________ ? ? ? ? ? ? ¡°Do you blame me?¡± Serafina was no stranger to loss though through her countless observations of the people all around her over the last several centuries she¡¯d learned enough to know the loss of a child was far worse than that of a lover and she didn¡¯t wish to experience it for herself. ? Her eyes moved to Regina even as she began texting her adoptive daughter with instructions for once she finished getting Emma settled. ¡°Get some rest, perhaps a bite to eat. Kara will help you with whatever you need.¡± She briefly reflected on the witches words with regards to a need for something to do as she rose from her chair. ? ¡°Could always take a look around town if you¡¯re feeling restless...see what information you could find. Just...be careful.¡± She looked to her daughter a little worried she might seek Castiel out on her own, something she would advise against but Gabrielle was a grown woman who could make her own choices. ? ? ? ? ? ? ? __________ ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ¡°Headed out?¡± Gabrielle inquired at seeing her mother on her feet, a question only answered with a nod. She looked to the others wondering if they would be doing the same or be too preoccupied with that book to venture too far from home.? ? She herself was already considering finding a place where she could attempt summoning the angel and in a manner that guaranteed he wouldn¡¯t be burying his blade in her chest shortly thereafter.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? |
Re: SH: Meeting Of The Minds (Eve/Abraham/Henry/etc)
¡°It would seem she¡¯s taken an interest in the Winchesters¡¯ cloud hopping friend or perhaps it¡¯s the little demon he¡¯s involved with.¡± Eve¡¯s expression became almost thoughtful as she considered what should be done about the earth demon. She really didn¡¯t have the patience to wait and see whether she became a problem then have another mess to clean up on top of that. ? She¡¯d already begun quickly typing away on the cellphone she¡¯d procured for herself making all the necessary arrangements. It wouldn¡¯t be hard to get her hands on more than a few witches with enough power to pull a thing like that off and if a little demonic involvement was required that could be arranged as well easily enough. ? ¡°I do wonder what her interest in them is?¡± There had to be a reason, there always was, and she didn¡¯t like not knowing. Too many variables in play for an unknown to be thrown into the mix at this point in the game.? |
Re: Back From Hell (Castiel/Halbrek/Azi/Cordelia/Sam/etc)
?
Azi rose, looking colorless and tired after keeping
his hands on Halbrek's shoulders while Castiel held her for several
minutes.
?
"I gave her energy. I did what I could,Angel and
now you own me information whenever I need it. One good turn deserves another,"
he said with a shudder.
?
"What happened,"Halbrek asked, sitting? up
slowly and peering around, expression dazed. She didn't rise from Castiel's
arms, instead leaning back into the angel's chest as most of what happened
returned to her. You could see it in the shadowing of her eyes.
?
?
"I guess she drained you because you passed out. It
takes a lot for demons to lose consciousness,"Azi's final comment was directed
to the humans, and he gave Jo a wink, gaze concluding on her.
?
Sam's thoughts were racing from one topic to
another, many returning to his personal life in one way or another before being
redirected. That was the last thing that needed his attention right now
considering. The.last.thing!"
?
"That's too bad," he commented to Cordelia's
visions or lack there of.
?
"Hopefully you'll get more later."
?
"Just a lot of dread for now. That's all you
missed,"Azi told Halbrek helpfully.
?
?
It was then that Spike came through the door and
strolled up to the table, stopping beside Cordelia's chair.
?
"Cab drivers charge far too much here. Especially
when a bloke is broke," he said.
?
Idly Azi wondered if this was the reason for
Cordelia's dread. Certainly the fashion choices of this one left much to be
desired, but his aura was interesting.

Re: Salvatore Boarding House: Desperate Times (Bonnie/Enkil)
?
Enkil had to scan the witch's mind to understand
many of the words she used when speaking to him. He listened with a thoughtful
frown.
?
"Well if your friend has turned his humanity off,
perhaps this is why he can not care that his love has returned to him," he
speculated.
?
Hadn't they all turned their humanity off in
becoming what they were? Not that he'd chosen to or would have chosen to but it
certainly had changed him. Because she was mortal he did not feel she could
understand this witch or no so did not comment.
?
"Happily ever after," he asked thoughtfully then
chuckled.
?
"I do not know what I seek to be honest. Most
things present themselves to me without my ever seeking them out."
?
He gazed about feeling oddly lost suddenly. He had
no roots, no one, nothing. Some would consider that good. At least he likewise
had no responsibilities, but he was still at a loss for what should be
done.
?
Idly he wondered if things felt...normal to this witch...right. Or did he just feel odd within himself? He was hesitant to ask so merely continued to gaze about. I'm friends with the monster that's under my

Re: Mystic Falls Cemetery (Hope/Miranda/Kol/Davina)
?
Kol glanced at Davina from time to time over his
shoulder to check on her as they headed quickly for the car.
?
He did look into Hope's mind as she suggested. It
was the fastest way to confirm her story or to be free to have her for lunch if
she lied. But she didn't and for a second his steps faltered. Well at least he
and Davina had turned out okay he couldn't help thinking.
?
"UYoiu and your aunt Davina need to have one of
those big witchy talks," he told Hope, proud of himself for that being his only
comment, considering.
?
?
As they got into the car his mind was still
processing it all. He knew he should say something to Elena's mother but he just
couldn't find it within himself to care right now considering his own family had
stuff and they were the important ones...at least today.
?
"Where to," he asked Hope, glancing back at her in
the car mirror where she sat in back with Elena's mom, as Davina sat up front
with him.
?
OOC, Hope it was okay to get them into the car. If
not just go back and add/iss cool.

Re: SH: Outside the Diner (Vlad/Jenica/Mina/etc)
?
"People have died for less.I would have a care,"
Mina told Jenika when she told Vlad to lose the attitude. Her words were more
concerned for the other woman rather than harsh and she moved protectively to
stand in front of her before giving Vlad a confused look.
?
"That's right,"Vlad told her. "I have killed for
less but only because they deserved it."
?
"You are...are Vlad," she gave a sob as he drew her
hard against his chest, rage and fear clear on his face. He was far more
comfortable expressing the former.
?
?
When his sister misunderstood the question he moved
to stop her, open hand on her shoulder. "Why did you do such a stupid thing. I
worried about my soul and you...I believed myself to be a demon but you...and
for me? I can take care of myself and I did...I was supposed to protect you and
you...did that. WHY did you not believe I could care for myself?"
?
His free hand remained in Mina's in case she took
it into her head to run off. She hadn't showed signs of that yet but he had no
idea what to expect. And how could this bee true? Demons? Real demons? Their
priest would shit himself. The fact they had a priest was unbelievable and soon
they would have one who shit himself.
?
Trying to turn the conversation to something
easier, Mina smiled at Jenika. She had asked about Renfield, after
all.
"That book was indeed real, and Stoker was a bit
of...well he fancied himself to be a Van Helsing..." Mina began, then wondered,
were the two the same? She'd known only an instant before, hadn't
she?
?
?
"Renfield is very real. His uncle was described in
that novel, though he himself was my servant, not his uncle. Renfield has become
a problem of late, though," he said, a briefly distracted frown passing over his
features. "And the gargoyle princess is not to be killed. Nor are any members of
her family."
?
"Gargoyles aren't real," Mina said, then gave
Genika a surprised look when she mentioned killing some.
?
"No. You're not serious! Please don't feed his outrageousness." And she was back to herself again just like that. Vlad clung to that. ?
"Can you tell us more of how the attack is working," he asked her, turning
here face up to look into his.
?
Her lip trembled and she nodded. She didn't want to think about it when she
was feeling herself, it flickered in and out so much. She told the other 2 as
much, adding,"I see Vlad then I see an...overlay? Is that the word where he
appears to be someone only trying to look like Vlad via vampiric suggestion.
It's the way you charm others to make them think you look different."
?
?
"I do not."
?
"He does," she told Jenika.
?
"And you...At times you look like yourself...like my dear sister returned to us and at others you look like someone else, another woman." ?
She squeezed her eyes closed.
"Just make it stop! I feel it shall break my mind."
?
"Which is just what the Turks want. I need you to fight, Mina. Not to
believe that which you know not to be true."
?
"But that's just it. In the grips I don't know!"
?
Feeling helpless wasn't something Vlad was interested in.
?
?
"I have pissed no witches off as you call it. I have them working for me.
They serve me. I command witches," he concluded proudly. With a frown he
added,"Unless there are Turkish witches...Then well I have pissed off quite a
lot of those but they had it coming as you are very personally aware."
?
"I shall let Mihnea know that the Turks may have demented his mother so
that he can contact the magic user with whom he deals who is stronger than most
witches."
?
He took Mina's phone and slowly painstakingly began to text. He rarely
needed such trifles he was no good at them.

Before he was a soldier he had been a school
teacher. Before she'd killed her father and stepmother, she had been a mystic.
So many lives, so many tangled threads, and all tangled by the angry black
hooves of one particular horse. Yes even the damned horse was special in the
very worst of ways.
?
?
And now he was back. He was one of the 4 riders of
the bloody apocalypse. Yeah but things could still probably get worse.. She
floated in the room staring at the other young woman.
?
?
"Please...help me. I don't know how I ended up
here, but you can help me.If you couldn't help me I'd not be here...I need to
get to Ichabod. Things are bad...and by bad I mean an entirely new level of
bad."
?
God she was beginning to sound like the hatchet.
She supposed she should get that too. It was buried. She'd done that herself.
She had to get herself a body, no to get her body fixed, it was hard to think
when your head was all air. But no she had to focus. To get her body and fix it
no to have someone else fix it and then to get to Ichabod...or the hatchet, one
of them then the other, yes like stepping over stones...or a rickety old
bridge...like the covered bridge....

She looked transparent, a slender young woman with
long? dark hair and large distressed eyes in an oval face. Her clothing was
outdated by a few centuries.

Re: The Woods Of Mystic Falls (Akasha/Damon/etc)
?
"What a bitch,"? Damon said of
Mekare.
?
"Redheads can't be trusted!"
?
He made no other comment to her but many things
were racing through his mind as it processed her story. For one they were all so
wrong about the first vampires. LKlaus and his family may be different but they
certainly weren't first. In that case were more before this Akasha of a
different nature? How far back did it go? He supposed different races of
vampires made some sort of sense. There were different races of people and each
seemed to have their talents. The Spanish could dance and...other things really
well, while the Chinese were really good at taking things over and utilizing
their time and resources...and fried rice...One could not forget the fried
rice.
?
?
This Akasha, though, what was she going to do now
and did it really make a damn to him? "So what now," he asked, only mildly
interested. He would probably tell Klaus of this if he saw him again. Or any of
that clan really...Why not? There was no reason to keep it a
secret.

Re: SH: Outside the Diner (Vlad/Jenica/Mina/etc)
¡°Seriously? Might wanna lose the attitude. Cause ya know what? I¡¯m just trying to help. There are countless things one can do magically speaking IF they get the blood of an enemy.¡± Jenica had learned several of those during her time spent as a demon and had made use of quite a few of them. Something she wasn¡¯t inclined to volunteer at present given the tension. ? ¡°Not a clue.¡± She hadn¡¯t seen nor heard from her nephew since she was human the first time around though she got the feeling it was suspected that she at least knew of his whereabouts (which she didn¡¯t). It bothered her to see Ilona this way and reminded her a little of the few people she¡¯d met who suffered from Alzheimer¡¯s, a thing she thought it best to keep to herself. ? ¡°So, there¡¯s an actual Renfield? Huh. Who would have thought?¡± She didn¡¯t sound all that surprised only mildly intrigued at the possibility and tempted to ask whether he ate bugs. One eyebrow rose slightly at what was said after the obviously familiar name. ¡°Gargoyle princess? Wait. Is that a thing?¡± It could be either amusing or fear inducing if it were. ? ¡°Killed quite a few in my demon days.¡± She admitted with a small shrug of her shoulders. There were a lot of things she¡¯d picked up along the way, sometimes too many things to recall. It had also become a habit to withhold too many details of what she might or might not know unless she was talking with Sam. ? If she were anyone else listening to the shared story about someone, even a vampire, who her nephew had impaled only to later forget about would have been unsettling but she listened without being at all phased by it.? ? She decided to risk offering her opinion on Mina¡¯s condition, drawing a breath first, ¡°If I didn¡¯t know better I would think someone found a way of giving a vampire Alzheimer¡¯s or some other form of dementia.¡± It¡¯s what it looked and sounded like to her but she didn¡¯t know how someone might pull that off. Wa there something about ¡®shattered mind¡¯? She could swear she¡¯d heard it before. ? While she was puzzling over that last thought she¡¯d been caught off guard when fangs tore into her neck before she could even act. One hand coming up to press against the bite mark on her neck as drops of blood trickled down. She shot a glaring look in his direction both angered and hurt he¡¯d do that to her. ¡°That¡¯s rich. You attack me...then turn around and ask ME ¡®·É³ó²â¡¯.¡±? ? She hadn¡¯t fully registered the emotion on his face in that moment as it was too difficult to accept that her brother of all people would hurt her. That was a thing she couldn¡¯t just ppshake off. But now after this vampire had had his little snack he expected her help when he didn¡¯t even believe she was who she said was. ? Even though she knew something was a little off about Mina with her emotions being what they were in that moment...she¡¯d had it. She was done with all the hoops no matter how badly she missed her family. ¡°You know what? That¡¯s a good question, why am I? Since that¡¯s what you believe...that I¡¯m pretending...maybe I should just go because not interested in being someone¡¯s snack whenever they get the munchies.¡± ? She hesitated a moment then said. ¡°You might wanna start making a list of witches you pissed off because they¡¯re your best bet.¡± With that said she started to turn away knowing she should get her neck taken care of before other vampires caught the sent of fresh blood if there were any close by.? |
Re: Covington House: Bed & Breakfast (Lexi/Valerie/etc)
Elisabeth moved behind the small counter while there was a laptop present she was still old fashioned in that she used a book to check the guests in knowing that her daughter always put all their information into the computer at night. Oh sure, she knew how to use it well enough but didn¡¯t particularly care to. She set about gathering what information was needed and a form of payment before handing the woman a room key and telling her it was the corner room at the end of the hall on the right.? ? ¡°Roundabout this time a day she just about always is.¡± She responded with a smile about her granddaughter.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ________ ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Lexi lingered outside replaying the conversation had earlier with Damon and wondering if there was anything to his claims of a couple who was human but more than that. Part of her suspected it was all an elaborate scheme just to get them off his back. She wouldn¡¯t put it past him. But what if it weren¡¯t? Course he¡¯d leave someone else to clean up his mess.? ? So far, she hadn¡¯t seen much of this supposed personal growth that his brother claimed had happened since his being with Elena. Boy, did that girl ever pick the wrong Salvatore brother. She thought that last bit with shake of her head. Turning she looked back at the door wondering if perhaps Valerie had decided to get a little rest after the long drive before visiting Stefan¡¯s grave.? ? She hoped against hope he¡¯d turn up here in Mystic Falls one day having come back to life as she had. But she knew he¡¯d been at peace for the first time since he¡¯d turned. Being a vampire had always been a struggle for him what with his tendency of being a bit of a bloodoholic. |
Mystic Grille (Matt/Nyssa)
¡°Sometimes I swear that I will never understand this generation.¡± Nyssa was aware a statement like that might raise questions as she appeared no older than her early twenties. Probably around about the same age as the sheriff if she had to hazard a guess as he seemed quite young. ¡°The internet does have its uses though I think too many people don¡¯t look up from their electronic devices enough to even enjoy the life they¡¯ve been given.¡± ? ¡°Where I was before? It was most unpleasant...the man who oversaw things was...cruel in a fashion. I believe you might know him. I hear he had a brief stay in your lovely town a month or so before I moved here. His name was...Cade.¡± She felt it was perhaps time to drop the pretenses as she knew enough to know this man knew a little about the supernatural. ? As she led him inside the Mystic Grille she glanced back at him with a reassuring smile. ¡°I give you my word that I mean no harm...I am what you would call a...¡¯neutral¡¯ party. I just wish to leave in peace and to that end I will answer all your questions.¡± |
Re: Mystic Falls Cemetery (Hope/Miranda/Kol/Davina)
¡°But he isn¡¯t...that is he died four years ago.¡± Hope instantly regretted that little slip of the tongue and chalked it up to not being a hundred percent right now. But maybe it was for the best...if she had any chance of getting his help...of getting her uncle to believe a word of her story she¡¯d have to level with him. Briefly looking from Kol to the others and back again as she was carried.? ? ¡°Not an aging spell. Time travel.¡± How much could she afford to tell him? If not everything then she might be facing her little dilemma alone. Quickly shaking her head. ¡°You can¡¯t tell him. Not tonight. He needs this.¡± She had a hunch this was around about the time her father reconnected with Tatia and by that she meant married her.? ? ¡°If you don¡¯t believe me...go inside my head or call either my mom or aunt Freya they¡¯ll tell you that my seven year old self is either safely tucked away in her bed or painting.¡± She hoped she could convince him because when they got wherever they were going or on the car ride there she was going to have to go into more detail. She knew that.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ________ ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Davina followed closely behind Kol while making sure they didn¡¯t leave Elena¡¯s mother behind as she definitely had questions and didn¡¯t want to have a hand in anything happening to her. Would she want to see her daughter? Why had she allowed her kids to believe her to be dead all this time? But no matter how hard she tried to focus on this she couldn¡¯t shake the chill she¡¯d gotten back there.? |

But the more ¡®open and honest¡¯ conversations with her best friend after the whole thing with Katherine gave her reason to believe their could be some hurt and even anger thrown into the mix here too. ? ¡°The friend whose cellphone you found...he¡¯s changed a lot through the years and sometimes changed back as he¡¯s a little self destructive especially without Elena. He lost his brother last year and bailed. I¡¯m pretty sure he¡¯s turned his humanity off. Anyway I found a magical loophole and woke her up from a sleeping curse which ya¡¯d think would have him racing back to town but no...he wouldn¡¯t even talk to her.¡± ? She still hadn¡¯t gotten to apologize for her little outburst in front of her best friend. It wasn¡¯t fair of her to say but it was the truth. ¡°If I were in his shoes...if someone called to tell me that Enzo was there...that he was alive...I would break every speed limit just to get to him. I don¡¯t understand why Damon can just walk away like that unless...he¡¯s over her. Sorry for the friend drama.¡±? ? ¡°Huh. That¡¯s a new one on me.¡± She¡¯d always thought the Mikaelsons were the first of their kind but after meeting this guy she¡¯d started to question that bit of information. ? Re: The Woods Of Mystic Falls (Akasha/Damon/etc)
Akasha decided to take a more direct approach with this young one as words seemed to have no effect. Before he could react or stop what was coming next she stood directly in front of him with a hand resting gently on either side of his head.? This time instead of trickery she let him take a walk through her memories from the moment she married Enkil to the night the black cloud of smoke forced itself down her throat and all that happened after.? ? The six thousand years spent as living statue...trapped with that...thing inside of her...taunting and tormenting her to the night ¡®she¡¯ awoke killing off a great many of her own kind with Lester at her side and then her death at the hands of the twin Mekare. It was hard enough dealing with the nightmares of those two Halloween nights from her childhood and years spent locked up in the basement of Smith¡¯s Grove mere doors down the hallway from where HE was being held. ? ¡°The only people that I know of who would even begin to know how to break the ¡®curse¡¯ are either all dead or happy with the ¡®status quo¡¯ so they wouldn¡¯t be inclined to be all that helpful.¡± She honestly felt fairly confident that the night they all escaped her uncle had killed his way through those connected to the ¡®Cult of the Thorne¡¯.? ? ¡°What...wait...angels?¡± She wasn¡¯t sure which was harder to believe...that vampires were real or that angels were. Both seemed a bit out there. But then she did have an uncle who couldn¡¯t be killed and was hellbent on wiping out his family tree for some unknown reason. ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? _________ ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Pandora casually lifted an eyebrow in response to the question of her actions on a matter she could only guess had to do with this ¡®Akasha¡¯. ¡°Pray tell, what would I be taking action against?¡± She sent a sidelong look toward the other redhead who appeared to be regaining some focus. The name she¡¯d spoken earlier that of her fianc¨¦, who by a cruel twist of fate played a key role in her grisly death.? ? She leaned back a bit with arms folding across her chest as she considered the next question. ¡°What am I?¡± The brunette repeated those words as she toyed with the idea of leaving the answer as a huge question mark. ¡°Certainly not a vampire.¡± It was tempting to make the woman endure a process of elimination to solve that riddle but with Lucy present she had zero interest in having the woman used as leverage in an unfolding confrontation. ¡°I am, however, immortal.¡± ? It always surprised her when this woman¡¯s kind picked this ¡®quiet little town¡¯ with its history of handling vampires. Her take could be a rather long one if she chose to reveal anything in depth given her age. ¡°I am witch who was burned at the stake three thousand five hundred and ninety seven years ago in Athens, Greece.¡± ? ? ? ? ? ? |
Re: Cabin in the Woods (Max/Katherine)
Katherine tipped her head with one eyebrow arched only slightly then opted for pointing something out to him. ¡°Maybe. But if you can¡¯t be compelled...they¡¯ll simply snap your neck or just rip your heart out of your chest.¡± Both being methods of dealing with an enemy she¡¯d used in the past as a vampire. Of course, now she had access to magic which she¡¯d adjusted to pretty quickly.? ? Slowly tipping her head to the other side as she looked up at him, beginning to entertain the notion of doing something that a person from another time period might frown upon. But then again anyone who knew all that much about her history wouldn¡¯t be entirely surprised when she did.? ? Lightly biting her lip as she weighed possible outcomes then decided to indulge her curiosity a bit. That¡¯s all. It might also be fun to see whether he¡¯d get all flustered. The mischievous doppelg?nger leaned in closer with a playful smile before softly brushing her lips against his.? ? |
Re: Leaving Mystic Falls (Elena/Mihnea)
¡°With his humanity off...he won¡¯t care.¡± Elena was short on answers when it came to knowing what it would take to get Damon¡¯s humanity back. He¡¯d lost his brother and she knew firsthand how painful that could be (especially with heightened emotions). Her fingertip lightly touching the image of him on her phone with a sad smile on her lips.? ? She was torn as she didn¡¯t want to give up and yet she also didn¡¯t know what to do. In the back of her mind she remembered things Lexi once told her about time spent getting his brother to let his emotions back in and wondered if the same would work for Damon. She also hadn¡¯t forgotten how far he¡¯d been willing to take things to get her to turn hers back on after Jeremy died. ? ¡°He used to tell me that if it came down to a choice of who to save...he¡¯d always choose me. I heard that a lot in the months before I was sacrificed.¡± She looked from the small glowing screen to Mihnea as he spoke of his first love and the lengths he¡¯d have gone to for her. ? At first the doppelg?nger was hesitant to say anything but she decided it might be helpful to bring it up. Sometimes even a little hope was enough. ¡°Don¡¯t kill me for suggesting this but...if we ever figure out who¡¯s behind bringing the dead back to life...maybe you could ask them about her.¡± ? She thought about his question a moment before responding. ¡°I guess we¡¯ll find out. I mean, Damon told me once that looks weren¡¯t all I got from Katherine and she could fool just about anyone into thinking she was me.¡± With all that she¡¯d been through it wouldn¡¯t be hard to come up with something that inspired the right amount of fear if she had to. ? ¡°Because...vampires can die. Whether it¡¯s a stake through the heart or decapitation or their hearts being ripped from their chests or sunlight. These were weaknesses that neither Silas nor Amara shared. Up until the moment the cure was created by a witch named Qetsiyah there was literally no way for them to die. They were immortal in every sense of the word. Only by taking the cure and becoming mortal again could they be killed.¡± ? The brunette looked out the window as the plane began to touch down.? |
