Locked Rebekah¡¯s Safe House (Franceska/Renfield/etc)

Rebecca walked the streets of Mystic Falls thinking of Mihnea. She hoped she did the right thing. Though the one thing on top of her mind was the kiss.? How dare he kiss her like that and turn into mist . He left her standing ther looking stupid. She have to remember to give him a good beating for that, Him and those sexy eyes of his.

She decided to head back to see how her new friends were settling in. Plus she thought she remember offering to show franceskas brother Felix to a decent hotel.?

She turned a corner heading to her safe house. When she eventually arrived. She knocked....

Re: Leaving Mystic Falls (Elena/Mihnea)

"You may call me by my name, Mihnea cel Rau," he replied shortly.
?
?
He'd chosen to opt for? the name fearful folk had given him rather than the one that the movies had made too popular. Sometimes it was cute but at others it was annoying and he wasn't in the mood to prove himself today.
?
"The reason we are leaving town is a matter of safety. For your friend, for my father's pets. I need to teach Damon a lesson and we're doing it with as little bloodshed as possible."
?
He flashed her an annoyed glance, patients weakening.
?
"Try and help me keep it that way. I am not accustom to answering so many questions. I have tried to allow you a nice trip. Even to decide where we go, but if you don't choose, I'm likely to get homesick and Transilvania is a bit of a dull place for pretty young women," he drawled.
?
Homesick hardly, but the threat could likely motivate her or at least subdue her. If she didn't pick somewhere, perhaps he'd call his parents and see what they were doing. His father would complain but mom would likely help him babysit. At present he was in the mood to tear out Damon's throat and have done with hit, but he's promised Rebecca + if he started another shit storm due to being careless his father would bitch for centuries sure as shit. At that thought, he struggled to hold back a resigned sigh as they drove.

Leaving Mystic Falls (Elena/Mihnea)

Elena brought her elbow up to rest on the door as fingers absently played with the thin silver chain worn around her neck. Thoughts of what the future might hold filled her head, something there was a time she'd had all figured out, but with everything seemingly in shambles with so much loss all around. ¡°Leaving town?¡± Her words sounded uncertain and a bit distracted as her focus shifted.?
?
¡°Why would we need to do that?¡± The questions had a way of piling up with answers being short supply, which made her anxious since it left everything up to her imagination and that could go to some pretty dark places with all she'd been through since meeting the Salvatore brothers almost a decade ago.
?
¡°So, what do I call you¡¡¯batboy¡¯?¡± She drew a breath deciding to make another attempt at finding out who her ¡®road trip companion¡¯ was since he seemed to be avoiding that question as well. It was easier to focus on that then trying to imagine who might have been feeding him information about her.

Locked Re: At The Diner (Cordelia/Jessica/Castiel/Halbrek/etc)

Even if it was true that Eve was the first demon, Angels were older than demons. This made her feel safe. That and the knowledge she had one sitting at her side as a trusted friend and more. She just had to keep her mind on the conversation at hand and off of the damned demon queen. If her thoughts got Alheala's attention...She'd not thought of thee queen in so very long...and it had kept her safe.
?
?
Loosening her grip on Castiel's hand with a vast effort, she gave Cordelia a distracted small smile.
?
?
?
"Yes, it was Lucifer with whom we spoke. I can't remember if I told you. I didn't mention it fore because...I wanted to make sure I was correct. He's alive and doing well and willing to help in his way because...as I said he's not ready for this little playground of his to end. So help from the devil is where it's at," she said with a small smirk.
?
"Not to alarm you, but in case you had any visions, I figured a heads up was a good thing."
?
Glancing around she added,"And don't worry. I masked this conversation so no one will be hearing us."
?
Glancing from Cordelia to Cas and back again she chuckled.
?
"Though with demons and angels needing to work together in such numbers, perhaps the world is ending!"

Locked Re: At The Diner (Cordelia/Jessica/Castiel/Halbrek/etc)

The angel of the Lord quickly looked up in surprise, his expression serious, without being too concerned. "I must admit, I agree with Halbrek. Eve is dangerous, but she is not truly an old thing. She may not have been around, and may be a new factor in this great game, whatever it may be. But for us, she is hardly new, hardly surprising. Anybody could become dangerous, given the opportunity, the motivation, the cunning. but we have been around before Eve and have few reasons to worry about her.
?
There are so many ancient creatures out there that could be problematic, should she find a way to release them, but that is a concern for another time. I was far more concerned about Uriel's actions myself. HIs motifs might be pure, for all I know, might be indirectly aligned with ours, but he at least can pack a punch, him I have seen in action. Eve, I believe our chances of surviving her are fairly good, unless we are badly outnumbered, distracted or trapped at the time of the battle," Castiel somberly reassured, his eyes sparkling with interest at the next statement.
?
"Four white trees? Such an intriguing message. I was told there was some arcane metaphysical wisdom depicted in the Book of Revelation, in a decoded form of course. And also some vested reason that could motivate Lucifer to either counteract or harness their energy. My understanding is that each one of them is infinitely dangerous, Death most of all, but while together, there is some hold...well never mind. We shall talk to Lucifer about that, and in the mean time, yes, I see no reason not to play, whatever game you had in mind Halbrek dear, it seems in everybody's best interest, currently," the angel slowly considered, trying to evaluate if he missed anything and not being able to locate any faulty logic in his plan.?

Locked Re: At The Diner (Cordelia/Jessica/Castiel/Halbrek/etc)

Halbrek felt her nails digging talon like into her palm and realized she was probably doing the same thing to Castiel's hand in which her other was laced. Eve just didn't bother her. Because she had escaped the queen of the Earth demon realm...where no other had to her knowledge. Alheala was nasty...and she had kept herself free. No she didn't plan to go up against eve, but neither did she worry over her much.
?
"She leaves us alone, that's all that matters to me," she said calmly, her true inner reaction for the distant yet still detestable memory of the earth queen.
?
?
When Cordelia's vision gripped her, Halbrek remained silent, not wishing to rock the flow as modern folk put it. When Cordelia's eyes cleared she listed the four.
?
"The horsemen. Death, Famine, War, Pestilence.?It's just another cycle where the world tilts a bit on its?axis. So many confuse it with?the end and to some it? may be, but not to all and not even to many. Lucifer isn't interested in his earthly playground going away, after all."
?
That?much seemed reasonable to share.
?
"I'm not saying it won't bee nasty, of course," she added, tone calm yet grave nonetheless.
?
"It's what Castiel and I know, that's all. It's war."
?
Turning to the angel?she winked and gave an amused though brief smile.
?
"And a big one at that. Ready to play?"
?
?
Would they be able to remain on the same side through it all, she wondered. She hoped so. Made things easier though the other way could make them more fun.

Locked Re: At The Diner (Cordelia/Jessica/Castiel/Halbrek/etc)

¡°Seriously? You hear there's a chance of Eve being the newest resident of Sleepy Hollow and THAT is what concerns you?¡± Cordelia gave a quick eye roll wishing that a preoccupation with sex came as a surprise but with men it never really did. ¡°Not the possibility of her carving you up like a Thanksgiving turkey?¡± There were WAY too many pieces of some scary as hell puzzle coming together for her liking.?

?

Sliding a sidelong glance toward the spot outside where her friend stood talking on the phone with a contact who would hopefully be able to provide them with more information. Her mind already going over the details of each vision as she wondered whether perhaps something was missed. ?¡°Huh? Oh, whatever.¡± She replied distractedly when asked about the menu.

?

¡°I think¡¡± She trailed her expression becoming distant as a stream of images flashed through her mind causing the seer to forget what it was she'd been about to say. ¡°Four white trees¡our headless friend only not so headless and not alone¡there are three others riding with him¡on horseback.¡±?

?

Staring at nothing in particular as she tried to memorize every single detail, which at times with visions could prove seriously problematic as the images often moved so quickly like someone was trying to cram a whole movie into a three minute music video. But this was one of the exceptions as it was more like a scene ? Instead of the whole damn thing.?

Locked Re: The Foundry (Abby/Jenny/Jenica)

¡°This name keeps popping up¡Serafina.¡± Abby turned another page continuing her search for answers to the questions raised by both a need that drove her to be a part of this fight and everything learned from a woman claiming to be Dracula¡¯s sister. Any other time in her life she would have written this all off as ¡®crazy talk¡¯ and left it at that.
?
She was left to wonder who this woman was that Corbin kept mentioning. Someone who could help them or maybe the opposite? It was hard to tell but she had to trust that if it were the latter then there would be some form of warning left and so far there didn't seem to be one.
?
¡°Yeah. Protections. Should probably be getting those.¡± Her tone a bit distracted as she thought back on her mentor having written about Jenica leaving her tempted to ask what if anything she knew about this¡Serafina. It was probably a huge leap to assume there was any connection between the two.
?
?
?
?
¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª
?
?
?
?
¡°Thanks. But got it covered.¡± Jenica was careful to avoid revealing anything that might suggest the name spoken was at all familiar. It wasn't at all surprising to discover the possibility of his being either a friend or passing acquaintance of Serafina whose reputation as a hunter would have been enough on its own to make him curious even without the rumors of her being an archangel, fallen or otherwise.
?
It was then that the pinging sound drew her attention to the cellphone tucked inside her pocket. She withdrew the device expecting to see a message from either Sam or Jo, naturally it came as a shock when it was neither. ¡°Investigate?¡± She repeated aloud paying precious little attention to the Mills sisters as the question of whether such a meeting could have less than thrilling results.?
?
There was a moments hesitation then she quickly typed out a response. //Diner. Tavern. Or cemetery.// Seemed like a good idea to offer two rather public places along with a more private, less conventional option. It wouldn't do to lead a potential threat straight to her doorstep.
?
¡°I have something to take care of. We should meet back here.¡± With that message sent she looked around until she found a pen and paper then scribbled down her own number on two pieces then handed one to each sister. ¡°Just in case.¡±

Locked Re: The Foundry (Abby/Jenny/Jenica)

"I've got a few little protections we can wear," Jenny said thoughtfully.
?
"They're hidden in my box of trinkets at home, so I'll have to nab them before we're off. I know there are 2, I may be able to scrounge up another, but I can't promise anything, " she told Jenika.
?
?
?
She had labeled and cataloged a lot of the items Corbin had left her but not all, admittedly. And when it came to it, of course she was protecting herself and Abby first. This new girl claimed to be a hunter and the freaking sister of Dracula o she could likely take care of herself.
?
"Want me to run grab them and meet you back here," she asked Abby, half rising as she spoke, already mentally half way out the door.
?
?
At this point, acting was better than sitting around thinking once the decision had been made as far as he was concerned. Too much thinking/worrying only left room for error.
?
?
Jenica's phone went off as Jenny spoke to Abby. When she looked, there would be a text. It was short and simple and from an unknown number. It read: Letter was received. We have come to investigate. Where should we meet?"
?
OOC, If she doesn't have a cell and didn't leave her number in the letter, disregard and I'll rework. I assumed so but it's been ages.

Locked Re: The Foundry (Abby/Jenny/Jenica)

Jenica doubted anything would come of the letter she mailed weeks ago given the odds against his being anything other than a man who developed a fixation with either her brother or the writings of a drunken Irishman. Either way it was a long shot she¡¯d been willing to take as all the time spent listening to friends and even strangers talking about family brought back a sense of loss one that never truly faded away no matter how hard she fought to keep it buried.

?

She drew a breath trying to keep her emotions concealed as turned away from the sisters who being new to all this no doubt expected her to have all the answers. Her brown eyes went to the phone still in her hand wondering if certain ¡®roadhouse connections¡¯ should be made use of but thought better of it as the fewer people who knew about this venture the greater the odds of their success.

?

Carefully tucking the small device back into her pocket as eyes drifted from one sister to the other. ¡°For now¡sit tight.¡± One appeared to be having a little more trouble with the idea than the other who continued pouring over the pages of old journals.?

?

¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª

?

?

?

¡°Kinda hoping that call to her friends is part that plan.¡± Abby leaned back in her chair leaving Corbin¡¯s journal laying open on the table as she carefully considered what she and her sister might be walking into. Shaking her head to clear away thoughts of all the ways going up against the first demon could go sideways.

Jenica leaned back against one of the tables filled with books. ¡°If you guys want to back out¡¡± One eyebrow lifted as her gaze drifted between the sisters deciding given the circumstances that offering the two women an ¡®out¡¯ before they got in too deep would be far better than having them get cold feet when mixing it up with a demon, especially one of Eve¡¯s caliber.?

Locked Re: Headed to Sleepy Hollow (Sam/Jo)

Sam made a noncommittal sound, mind preoccupied.
?
If he could get the Jekyll and Ms.Jekyll to work for them, now that would be something.
?
"If only a little is true it could be enough," he said distractedly.
"And unfortunately a little is always true at least."
?
As they headed out his mind toyed with the biggest part of the puzzle. Jekyll was obviously difficult to kill. So promising not to kill him if he helped may not work so well. He and Dean had taken down demons, but then again, sometimes those who weren't demons, who were lesser, could still be harder to kill. It was a matter of?science in Jekyll's case rather than hocus pocus, after all.
?
So...If they couldn't kill him, perhaps they could parley. What if they had something he wanted? Having some violent vicious bad ass on their side could only help against the likes of Eve. And if not, Eve would surely find it easier to kill him than they would, so either way it could work. It wasn't the first time he'd set 2 bads against one another. Locating Jekyll would have to come later, though, when they had time to seek out back up. One thing at a time, and now they needed to hopefully find the gun after joining forces. He was looking forward to seeing Castiel again for sure.
?
When they arrived he glanced around, then looked to Jo with a shrug.
?
"Not very impressive, is it? But sometimes it's where the worst things are," he concluded darkly.

Locked Headed to Sleepy Hollow (Sam/Jo)

¡°I wonder how much of that old story is true?¡± Jo knew the two likely had very little in common but it was hard not to think back on the animated movie that her teachers used to let them watch every single year at Halloween when she was a little girl. It was one of the highlights of elementary school¡that and recounting every single detail to her father when he returned from ¡®working a job¡¯.

?

She walked outside headed toward the impala with a duffel bag slung over her should once they had finished checking out of the hotel. ¡°If Jenica is right and there's a weapon out there that could kill Eve¡what are the odds of us getting to it first?¡± It had become a nearly instinctive reaction for her thoughts to turn to all the ways things could go sideways after two years on the road learning everything that she could from hunting with Sam.

Locked Darkly Dreaming

The yellow haired demon had to wonder if the whole thing was a ploy. The only reason he was still listening was because the tormented soul of an ancient Goetes went through the trouble of escaping the fiery pit, and not being able to get to any senior demons settled on him. The fires of Hell were beginning to take their toll, the Goetes was beginning to assume a fiery semblance himself, only his eyes remained steady as they?have been, through the millennia, if rumors were true.
?
"So you are telling me that an entire chunk of Hell is gone all of a sudden?" Rudolph incredulously wondered, his mind set on his previous dreams of the lovely Salome. "And if it is gone, how is this a threat to anyone, instead of an advantage? Where would it go, what would it do that could hurt us?" Yerbler added, but the man once named Tantalos was not to be swayed. "You must tell your superiors it is an emergency. It wasn't just any part of Hell, it was the Pit of Treachery. You know who dwelled there, don't you," Tantalos demanded and Rudolph began to feel less at ease.
?
It was just like in his dream, minus the pleasant parts. The hills were moving, some figures were rising, surrounding him and only that three part glyph?that he was inspired to draw, deflected and diffused?their oppressive presence. He was able to protect himself and Salome too, with another gift?from his mysterious benefactor, but only with some considerable luck. After all, the man who became the embodiment of treachery did not even bother with the likes of him, using his might to fly upward, ever upward, with the?dark terrain itself?exploding under the pressure of his overwhelming flight. ?
?
Rudolph?never met him, but heard of him. Heard of his never ceasing movement underneath,?that made Hell itself quake. He had considered him merely a dark legend, was half intrigued by?him, as?part of Hell's darker lore that was no longer taught to new demons. But seeing him?even in a dream, defied all expectations. Perhaps, it was the feel of his unfamiliar might, the?sense of treachery that spread its wings in every direction and hurt his very innards. Only Crowley's happy song combined with the glyph allowed him to shake off the memory of the disturbing dream. And now what, what was he to do now, he wondered and repeated the three part glyph that may have once represented the convergence of the rays of the sun, but appeared to protect demons?despite such unusual affiliation.
?
"So, where would Judas go, if unchecked? To prey on what exactly?" Rudolph patiently wondered,?almost certain that his dream happened to be true. Tantalos nodded his approval of the guess and began fervently whispering into Rudolph's grudgingly presented ear.?"Never thought I would witness such miracles in my day," the yellow haired demon admitted with a small smile, wondering what Crowley would make of this nonsense. ? ? ?

Locked Re: Salvatore Boarding House: Outside (Mihnea/Elena)

Mihnea gave a slight chuckle shaking his?head while his green gaze remained on the Rhode.
?
"No. You misunderstand. We're going far far away. We are leaving the state...the country if you wish. I've a jet or two."
?
Okay one belonged to a friend but still.
?
"We may as well have fun while I teach your boy toy not to fuck with anything belonging to my father, ever," he said casually.
?
He ignored the question concerning the name of his little bird, instead responding to those things he had a comment for. He wasn't involving Rebecca. He'd given his word, a thing he kept unless he ever saw a reason not to.
?
OOC, Yeah I forgot a lot of the post that got lost. I think he got her away from the house via carrying her super fast then, but it's been ages and can't remember so had to reconstruct.

Locked Re: Salvatore Boarding House: Outside (Mihnea/Elena)

Elena felt as if there were a pit in her stomach within an instant of hearing someone told him about the sleeping curse. She doubted any of her friends would have volunteered the information as they were all concerned about word of the cure getting out and what that might mean for her.?
?
Shifting her weight from one foot to the other as she tried to appear unconcerned even as she posed the question. ¡°So, does this¡¡¯pretty bird¡¯ have a name?¡± It was doubtful this information would be shared but no one could fault her under the circumstances for making some attempt at finding out.
?
His words caused her to tense as a look was cast over her shoulder toward the boarding house as once more the thought of making a run for it briefly crossed her mind. Or perhaps calling out to a certain hybrid. But neither of these things were done. She looked back just in time to catch a smile that seemed more reassuring than threatening.
?
¡°He won't care.¡± This wasn't her first time dealing with a vampire who opted to flip their humanity switch instead of facing whatever pain or guilt they were feeling. Not that she could lecture anyone on this given her history. ¡°You still haven't answered my question. Who are you?¡± She repeated as if knowing that would make this all easier.
?
With a touch of reluctance she climbed into the car doubting she had any choice in the matter. She nervously chewed on her lip as if that could possibly keep her from asking questions and ultimately it did little to prevent it. ¡°Why choose me? I haven't been a part of his or anyone else's life in five years.¡±
?
When she thought about her current reality it was hard not to question things or feel at a loss no matter how much she might want to fight for them. ¡°It's a small town so your options are a bit limited. Most people go to Mystic Grill.¡± The last bit was added with a small shrug of her shoulders, never once thinking he might be removing her from Mystic Falls altogether.
?
It was an odd thing to be discussing places that sounded fun with someone who was essentially kidnapping her.

OOC, again replied to this ages ago and can't find it. Yahoo is a whore.? Here goes trying to reconstruct. Thanks for reposting as had no idea.

?
?
When Elena asked how he'd known about the curse Mihnea merely shrugged.
"Lets say a pretty bird told me," he drawled.
"If you've not noticed, I'm special. I can mist. I can turn into a bat. I hear things."
?
He'd not lied, nor had he given info best left silent. He had learned to play in the courts of nobles centuries ago and the same careful strategies still worked with ordinary folk today. Giving without giving, intriguing while displaying power in a way that announced without threatening.
?
"As for Damon, I don't expect you to do anything. He simply won't know how you're doing...If you're hurt, if you're frightened, if you're bleeding out for my pleasure."
?
He flashed a smile that he hoped to put her at ease.
?
"Until then, though, we'll be having fun."
?
?
Once he'd gotten her into the car with a gentle hand on her shoulder to encourage while giving her no room to do otherwise he headed out of town.
?

"So where seems fun," he asked.
?
Felix was going to be pissed because he'd taken the car, but it was his car,?and shit needed to be handled and that was the bigger picture. Besides, the guy had tons of money and could buy another damn car exactly like this one if it was that big a deal.

Kol felt his body relax at the mere touch of Davina's hand on his. She always calmed and quieted him as no one else ever could. Feeling his hand relaxing he sighed, then suddenly turned to her as a thought, like a thunderbolt, struck his mind.
?
"What if I made you a true Mikaelson. Not just with wedding vows but with eternity as well? I would've suggested it anyway before you died on me but if we do it right now...they won't be able to use you anymore, Davina! Let them find someone else. They've done enough to you already...To us."
?
He met her gaze, eyes a mix of pleading and frustrated as he waited, literally on the edge of his seat for her answer. Sure?there would be consequences to such a move, but weren't they always and neither of them had benefited from those at all as of yet.
