Halbrek felt her nails digging talon like into her palm and realized she was probably doing the same thing to Castiel's hand in which her other was laced. Eve just didn't bother her. Because she had escaped the queen of the Earth demon realm...where no other had to her knowledge. Alheala was nasty...and she had kept herself free. No she didn't plan to go up against eve, but neither did she worry over her much.
?
"She leaves us alone, that's all that matters to me," she said calmly, her true inner reaction for the distant yet still detestable memory of the earth queen.

When Cordelia's vision gripped her, Halbrek remained silent, not wishing to rock the flow as modern folk put it. When Cordelia's eyes cleared she listed the four.
?
"The horsemen. Death, Famine, War, Pestilence.?It's just another cycle where the world tilts a bit on its?axis. So many confuse it with?the end and to some it? may be, but not to all and not even to many. Lucifer isn't interested in his earthly playground going away, after all."
?
That?much seemed reasonable to share.
?
"I'm not saying it won't bee nasty, of course," she added, tone calm yet grave nonetheless.
?
"It's what Castiel and I know, that's all. It's war."
?
Turning to the angel?she winked and gave an amused though brief smile.
?
"And a big one at that. Ready to play?"
?
?
Would they be able to remain on the same side through it all, she wondered. She hoped so. Made things easier though the other way could make them more fun.

I'm friends with the monster that's under my bed.
I get along with the voices inside of my head.
